  • any one ordered yesterday, and the order status still stays in process?

  • If someone would be willing to share a screenshot of the webpage with discount or invoice if they purchased today, for price protection that would be greatly appreciated. :)

    • +2

Not sure if this helps but here is a screenshot of the checkout with the discount code applied.

      • Thankyou so much alaskanphilo! It doesn't have the date/time from the pc or device but will send a price protection claim and see what happens. Appreciate the effort. :)

  • These or the Sennheiser HD 450SE's for $110 on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0926ZZ3H3/?smid=ANEGB3…
These seem to be rated better on a few sites. Better battery life on the 450SEs though.

    • +2

I had the 450se before and it was very uncomfortable to wear, the anc also was pretty bad (mainly use it in the bus).

  • The referral code $20 doesn't work with this product sadly. Or else it would make it even sweeter!

  • +1

Is there anything better than these for the price ($210?) They basically QC45's with a soft case?

  • Has anyone used the Bose “90 day free trial” policy?

Is it basically a 90 day return period no questions asked?

    Who pays for return postage?

    • +1

According to their chat, they pay return postage and its 'risk-free' (Bose chat claim) .

Bit the bullet and for $209.95 if they're similar to the QC45's then that doesn't seem to be a bad price, and come tax time as I'll use them for meetings etc I guess I could claim the cost against my tax rate for reducing the price further.

The only thing that gets me is that Bose are supposed to be premium and they have a 1 year warranty!

  • Ordered this last night and praying that Startrack are quick as I’m leaving on Friday for some long flights. It’s plausible (regional Vic ‘2-5 days’) but it would be pretty funny if I didn’t get the benefit shortly after the one time I cough up for NC cans.

    • Have you received an order update? I ordered mine on 24-Nov and status on website still says "In Process"

      • +1

I ordered on 23rd and still says in process, email and chat option is not being helpful

      • Same as others - no luck yet.

  • +1

Go thru to their chat service, their response
"Thank you for the patience, as I can check this order is delayed due to stock issue. However, please do not worry as we are expecting the stock for this product on 11/27/2023 and 12/4/2023. Please do not worry your order will be shipped soon. "

    • I ordered before I posted the deal and can confirm I received them in Sydney the next day. When I posted they initially went out of stock within 10 minutes. My assumption is that they decided to reopen the online store with "in stock" and continue taking orders despite not having physical stock, which would explain the shipping delays.

      • +1

Yeah, thats wht i guessed too, they dont have stock. Atleast they are going to ship it eventually, so wont be missing out on deal

      • +2

        Ordered 23/11.

Chat told me this just now

        Thank you for waiting.
Upon checking, upon checking your order is expected to ship out by: 11/29/2023.

Tracking number will be sent on your registered email address once the order ships.

      • +1

I ordered 27/11 and had no updates still today, so I spoke to a chat agent and they said the stander (sic) for processing is 7-9 business days and that 2-5 business days refers to delivery in transit time only. I asked them to show me where this is mentioned on their website and they couldn't give me anything. Even here on their support page (which is very difficult to find) it says "typically one business day" but nothing about 7-9 business days. https://www.bose.com.au/en_au/support/shipping_and_delivery.…

This is very disappointing from a premium brand like Bose.

        • Just hold out! Likely due to the influx of orders. I ordered on the 27th too and mine just got shipped

        • I ordered on 25/11 and no updates since. Can’t reach Bose customer service either. Very disappointing.

          • +1

@Ollymustdie: I orderd 24th, got tracking number fewhours a go and its coming through austpost/startrack. Estimated delivery states tomorrow. Hopefully you'll get it soon.

            • @glashalful: No estimate here. Ready for processing. It hasn't been picked up by StarTrack yet.

              • @zobragin: Austpost app states Item Processed at Facility Sydney NSW @4.30pm and Delivery Expected on 1st December. I'd be surprised if I get it tomorrow as I'm in Melbourne, Victoria.

                • +1

@glashalful: Startrack Platinum service is usually overnight. Dell use this service. Wouldn't be surprised if Bose did as well.

                • +1

@glashalful: You’ll get it today. Mine were delivered in Adelaide day after dispatch.

                  • @Chickenleg: @zobragin it looks thats the case, app now states delivery expected on 4th December, but got an update that its in transit to the last austpost destination before getting delivered. In the past few months I usually got packages on the same day whenever a package had this update. Fingers crossed but hopefull to get it today!

                    • @glashalful: Received mine, interesting that technical info on Bose app say this headphones were manufactured on 18th Nov 2023.
                      Model name is QC45

                        • @Letters And Numbers: Haha I was eying for a Bose headphone for quite a while now. They are more comfy than my Sony mdr zx 770.

  • +1

Waited till the death for sony to reduce theirs, but nothing forthcoming. Dissapointed a little as thought they would have competed. Pulled the trigger on this.

    • About to pull my trigger until I realised that I had no code. Megathread has been flooded :/

      • +1

Send me a pm and I'll shoot you through a code :)

      • I’ve asked for a code and been waiting for couple of days without any luck

  • +1

    Still waiting from 25/11.

    • +1

      Still waiting from 23/11.

  • Back in stock. I had to use Chrome and PayPal to order successfully on my iPhone.

  • +1

They have marked my order as completed and havent even shipped the stuff yet, lol

  • I don’t even need these but ordered them LoL
    Thanks

  • +2

    • i got my tracking number from AU post just then as well.

  • No one gives a code :((

    • AUC-5FX7-SZZM-8MM5-F5YK

  • Got the tracking number. Order placed on 23-Nov.

    • Got it delivered early this morning

  • Got tracking number. Order placed 29-Nov

  • Ordered 25th and order is still in processing.

  • Just got delivered ! Early xmas present for myself, woot !

  • Thanks OP! Been wanting some forever, was overseas when came across these and they sale them for like $550-600 aud.

Does anyone use any good headphone stand they can recommend? Thanks.

  • Wow these are hot off the manufacturing press. Mine show a manufacturing date of 16th November 2023.

    • Where did you find the manufacture date?

      • On the box I think

      • Mine wasn't on the box.

It shows the manufacturing date in the Bose Music app.

        • Thank you, managed to find in the app. 7 and 9 November for the pairs I bought.

  • Got the delivery, these are my first pair of decent headsets and the ANC is quite handy for me.

  • +1

For a big company their tracking sucks.

    Order Shipped

  • Has anybody had any luck using these as a headset with MS Teams on Windows 11? The pair I just received suck. Everyone on the call said I was too quiet to hear despite speaking up, there were intermittent drops and pops, and after all that it sounded like i was connected with a tin can and piece of string. I've reverted to my $39 USB wired headset and will be returning these to Amazon.

    • not sure if you had found/tried this?
      https://www.reddit.com/r/bose/comments/131dwpa/comment/jloy4…

Any one else used this with teams/work calls?, I'm on the fence as mostly use with Teams so want to make sure they work ok.

      • +1

@scar4ace sorry, only just saw this so probably way too late… I hadn't seen that particular reddit thread but I saw similar things and none of the suggestions worked for me. No amount of settings tweaking made any difference, even with the newest version of Teams. Under Windows 11 the mic always showed as:

1 channels, 16 bit, 16000 Hz (Tape Recorder Quality) - Tape Recorder Quality

Even my 10 year old USB webcam was showing several better options than that. I have since returned them to Amazon and received the refund. It's a shame because the fit was really comfortable. I am not a huge fan of on-ear headsets, but Jabra sets with a proper boom seem to be much more reliable for quality. When I have more patience I will start looking again. Until then, I'll stick with my $39 sellotaped MS Lifechat 3000.

  • Delivered so all good.

  • +2

These headphones have surpassed my expectations they are so good. They do have one drawback though.

When using outdoors in the wind they sound terrible. ANC cuts most but a lot gets through making them not great.

Shame there is no wind reduction or passive mode.

Other than that they are great.

  • How does this noise cancelling compare to the better models? Is it just sound quality difference? Or they also go cheap with the ANC?

    • If you mean the QC 45, then no there are no differences. I believe it's the exact same product. When I connect these (QC SE) to the bose app, the app detects it as the QC 45.

  • +2

just ponied up for 2 pair at the no-beans price of $249.95 each - I did ask for beans but no instant reply, and seeing there had been previous no-stock, and this price is way below retail, and I have spare cash, so …

as a long-time and daily user of Bose QC NC headphones - first QC15 (wiry), then QC35 (ooh BlueTooth!), then QC35ii (more better - didn't have the auto-on fault), I use them every day at home to block out ambient noise from milady's other entertainment/TV/videos, construction noise or screaming kids in the street, traffic noise on long journeys, or engine noise on overseas flights, and consider these as one of the most valuable contributors to my ability to enjoy a peaceful amenity in a sometimes disturbingly noisy environment.

So now I'm just hoping the delivery goes OK to our neighbour (I put their name and address for delivery, mine for billing address) at home who's accepting deliveries on our behalf while we're o/s …

I will acknowledge the comments about wind noise and expect the 45s are the same as the 35s in this respect - when I get the nasty wind noise in the microphone I just turn my head to minimise that, and anyway I mostly wear them at home for private listening to YouTube (learning guitar songs, etc.)

  • +1

I can see the price $249 at Jb Hifi, $278 at TGG, and $249 at Amazon. Are these discounted prices? I can't see $449.95 anywhere.

    • open the link for this deal and you can see it, not sure what you're missing

  • Ordered on 10/12 and received today

  • Received mine today. Made in Thailand, production date 17-NOV-23. App detects QC 45.
Soft pouch isn't too bad, not as sturdy as a hard case, but definitely convenient and offers some level of protection.
Compared to my old QC35 $200 well worth it. Same or more comfy to wear, feels light, usb c, dedicated buttons. Beautiful Bose sound and top ANC.
    No plane adapter.

  • Does anyone feel heat buildup and sweaty ears after 10-15 mins of use

    • Not really, even after couple of hours, but it wasn’t that hot last few days ~ 25C.

  • Thanks OP. It is now 245.95 - 40 = $205.95. Please update the price.

  • Okay ordered one tried couple of in ear ones from sound peats and they go rogue in few months. Was almost buying Anker QC30 for $90 went with this one
