Corded Bosch Lawnmower. 37cm diameter, comes with 10m cord (can take up to 40m at 1.0mm core apparently), 40L grass bin. I like the cutting height range of 20-70mm. Neighbour has one, and seems to cut as low as petrol Louder than the Ozito PXC, but they are battery powered. 3 year warranty at the moment per Bosch website.

I have a corded trimmer, and got cable caught up a few times, so yes, tread carefully. Prob suited to smaller yards, nature strips? Apparently, there is a 'technique'. My mower is 46cm Ozito, battery powered.
I used to have one, and yes, the fear is real.
There a technique to use this. Start close to the power source and zig zag away from it. The machine will never go over the wire. But considering a coffee and break fast costs over 10 bux, a little more for a battery mower is a no brainer.
My concern with battery powered one isn't the cost, rather the battery life and degradation.
I've been using a corded mower for over 5 years and it's still going great. I'm worried that batteries will not last that long and if they don't, will I still be able to buy a replacement battery?Ya batteries will wear out eventually. Its ineveitable. Hopefully 5 years down the line they should still be available if you buy a reputed brand.
are they getting better nowadays
had one about 10 years ago and was terrible and inefficient
been with to petrol (honda) one since
but now even my car is electric, and lawn is only 30% size, would it do a good job now?
Yes I bought this same model when it was $99
Works as well as the petrol one I used to use, with less fumes

Ah yes the PT Cruiser model
I have been using this for over 3 years without any problems.
Yes, it takes a little while to get used to avoiding accidental running over of the cord.
But once you develop a routine, its so easy.
I can carry it with one hand, no more strain as with the old heavy petrol mower.
Good height control.
Nowhere near as loud as an old petrol mower
I think $139 is a good price.Stupid question, does it need oil or any maintenance required ?
Nope
Cheers. I am sold !
Using this since 2020 awesome unit
how big is your yard?
i have a small yard
I have ozito one, I think they are same, works for me
How many people had a visual in their minds of running over the cord
