Nice find, powerful machine and looks good too. After having 2 HP's fail due to the n-vidia chips fail its good to see more ATI gfx in laptops. Good price If I didnt just spend $589 on tix to London I would been so up for this right now.

Sorry, but for not too much more you can at least pick up something for twice as good as that. I'm talking only around $1500… Well this is my opinion.
2 x dead xbox360's & 2 x Dead HP laptops so I don't have a lot of faith in N-nidia chips sticking to the boards (GEFORCE) . For a $1300 Laptop its not a bad GFX choice. Gaming isn't a high priority for me in a laptop that's what I have a Desktop for that.
This model is quit stock replaced by new M51VR series.
Most places can lose money on them. I've seen them cheaper at JB Hifi. That's if you can still get them…
The price is fairly bog standard, and the original poster mikal has discovered the airfair thing doesn't apply to this notebook.
