Pair this with the $42.20 Sydney Marathon deal!!

  • Does seem to be the cheapest for a while. If it gets cheaper, you just have to cop it on the chin I guess. Can't wait forever chasing the ATL. You could have been using it for a year or more while waiting. I don't really use it anymore as I've moved on to a watch but it seemed good enough for my use case at the time.

I've burnt through several Wahoo and Polar heart rate monitors over the years and they all end up eventually dying. I've now moved on to cheapo Magene HRMs from Amazon and it's accuracy is basically the same as the more expensive ones for a third of the price

  • What apps to use with these?

    • Anything that works with ANT+ or bluetooth

      Polar have apps as well

    • I have also had this work with it being BT directly to my Apple Watch to give more accurate HR during a standard Apple Watch work out than the detection on the wrist. I like my Apple Watch band a bit looser when I work out, so this has been a good solution for HR monitoring (especially when doing HIIT or something similar).

Also some of the gym equipment at the local Good Life gym I used to go to had ANT+ built in so it would come up on the equipment directly.

      Hope that helps.

    • I got a cheap HR ANT+ monitor but couldnt find any app to track it, e.g. Google fit, Samsung health. Wondering how I could make use of it.
