Pairs perfectly with the Logitech Powerplay deal for $118 @ Amazon AU.
The only difference between the G502 X and G502 X Plus is that Plus has RGB and is 4 grams heavier, so you can refer to the RTING.com review for the G502 X Plus for both version.
I'm very happy with my G502 X Plus. Feels extremely responsive, good number of extra buttons, and easily customisable with the Logitech G Hub software.
The only complaint I have relates to the scroll wheel:
- Unfortunately, because the scroll wheel is too light and lacks any inertia, stopping the wheel in free-spin mode and letting it go again can be more than enough to cause it to unintentially scroll another line (either up or down).
- It also has a mechanical switch for going back and forth between ratchet mode and free-spin mode, when I have been used to the software adjustable dynamic scroll switch of the MX Master 3.
In my opinion, the perfect mouse would be a combination of the G502 X, and the scroll wheel of the MX Master 3.
Worth the upgrade over an original G502?
