Hi OP. Do thoes pump actually work?

Genuinely asking. The ones I've tried in the shops do next to nothing. Even the lady selling them called it a 'gimmick' that doesn't work proper.

  They've always been a gimmick; the only ones that sort of work are the Instapump Fury. I only buy them because they look cool

    I mean sorry, back in the 90s, I could feel the shoe inflate. Its was a gimmick, alas a working one. The ones I tried on, more than 1 paid, did nothing.

      The ones in the 90s just inflated the tongue. The new models and re-releases are hit or miss. I just checked out a few pairs and these ones, Shaqs, Iversons and Classics don't work. Instapump Furys work on some pairs

        @rosebank: The new ones/re-released are known not to work and pump up the tongue, yet they dare to charge what they charge for them. I know because I have a pair and also experienced the originals from back in the day that actually inflated the tongue.
