I was after a new and more modern Yamaha AV receiver to replace my old one and found out Yamaha don't allow their dealers to discount their products online but dealers can negotiate prices with customers directly. So I emailed a few places to get their black Friday prices on the model I was after and came across Clef Hi-Fi which emailed me back with a 20% off for the model I was after (others either didn't respond or discounts were not as good). The same offer likely applies to other models as well, but you'll have to call or email. They are Melbourne based but deliver anywhere across the country and shipping was free to me in metro Perth.
After the 20% off discount, the prices come down to:
- Yamaha RX-A4A 7.2 Channel AV Receiver - $1,839.20
- Yamaha RX-A6A 9.2 Channel AV Receiver - $2,959.20
- Yamaha RX-A8A 11.2 Channel AV Receiver - $4,799.20
I don't like the website.
Why are there no photo of the back?
