Different companies but probably same panel and or quality.
First of all mine has light bleeding one of the corners, I didn’t notice till too late, it’s a bitch go setup due to the size. I read even if I asked for another one I’ll prob find the light bleed somewhere else, Sony’s quality control is on a different level to these guys.
The os sucks, Sony’s use android tv
There is sometimes a shudder/jerkyness in the moving picture I can’t get rid of. I’ve tried the newest apply tv and nvidia shield and it still occasionally happens. Later firmware updates have improved it but it’s still there.
The eArc execution is horrible and it fights with my 8k120fps amplifier and other devices for screen presence.
The backlight is shit, the blacks are not deep
I can go on but you get the drift … 100% regret. Go for a quality brand like Sony or Samsung , I got it for $4500 with an extra $500 voucher from memory, I’d happily pay more for this deal with what I know now

Currently, this is cheaper than 98 TCL C845. Had a look at this model, but the black crush and colour is a bit saturated for me. I reckon Sony retains more picture detail in darker scenes.
Any discount for 101”?

You're probably right. It can get confusing though. Once you apply the 10% off at checkout, then go back to the product page, the price updates there too, without indication of the 10% off.
