Just spent the last 1.5hrs researching whether to get an XBOX or PS5 any suggestions? I have a PC, it has a 1070 graphics card, but would like to play games casually. Used to love COD and BF4 but haven't played in ages as I am an office worker and cannot deal with turning on steam and spending hours updating games.

Don't get much time for gaming. When i do i have been using the xbox over the pc almost every time.
Currently playing starfield via gamepass and its great to just turn on and be exactly where I left it in seconds.
Same. To me, the best thing about Xbox is Quick Resume, which saves your exact spot and lets you skip all the loading at the start of a game.
And the best thing about the PS5 is that it's more popular here, so you probably have a better time finding players in online multiplayer.
But if you're a CoD fan, Gamepass will be awesome for you. Microsoft just bought Activision, so you can have all past and future CoD games for $10 a month. Add a couple bucks for Gamepass Ultimate and you can have all Battlefield games too.
If you are a big fan of shooters (which it sounds like you are) then get an XBOX, otherwise PS5.

Just be wary guys between this Spider-Man 2 bundle and the standard PS5 console. Both are listed at the same price. I explicity told the bloke at the counter that I want the bundle. I bought ithe bundle and got back and realised there was no game included. So the they obviously gave me the standard edition. My thought was that the physical game was in the box. So I guess I have to go and excahnge now.

Yes, I have come to realise they made it unecessarily complicated. The funny thing is that I there is no digital code (physical card) in the box. So I wonder if it is connected to the physical console itself and therefore you would only be able to download it when you sign into PSN or something.
