If you're like me and picked up a discounted Samsung mobile recently, I have been on the hunt (and fence!) for getting samsung care for my ultra. Just noticed samsung made this a little easier by offering 40% on 1 yr. $89.40 which isn't too bad. Just paid and can see it live now in my samsung members app. Hopefully helps someone.
40% off Samsung Care+ 1 Year Subscription: S23/S23+ $77.40, S23 Ultra $89.40 @ Samsung

Its covered under warranty for those issues, Samsung care is more like insurance in case you dropped it..etc
I see.. hmm if $100 for two years I will bite
I'll bite if it's free
@sqheaven: Won't there still be an excess?
@flux: Now that I have seen this deal, my phone is at a greater risk lol I guess one screen replacement is included, not that you break it every other day.
@flux: The excess is the 'swap fee'
See bottom of this page https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/samsung-care-plus/
S23 series only. Not including Fold or Flip etc.
By the time you factor in the cost of the cover plus $300 excess, that's nearly $400 in fees for replacing an old phone with a refurb
I put a spigen case on mine. 50$or less and my phone has been without a problem for more than 2 years.
Samsung Care+ means you will get a refurbished replacement….maybe
When I signed up it mentioned I would get a new phone within 24 hours at my door. ha
Had a Fold 4 die (inner screen) and Samsung said it was not repairable.
They also didn't have a replacement or would not upgrade me to a Fold 5.
7 weeks in and I'm still waiting for a refund.
Worst company warranty ever. Pathetic service. Its worth it in some scenarios. I have kids and they have broken screens on my iphone X and pro max.
I'll happily pay the $89 and in the event of a break, an extra $99. Screens are like $500 and i have a decent chance of this happening. All up $188.
If the total phone is written off, ill also happily pay $230, as the phone will be <1 yr old. All up $319.
Pretty sure s22 ultra refurbs are still like $1000+. YMMV and not for everyone. Great for people who want to go caseless for a year :)
Hmm just one year? Usually the first year is okay, and problem Start on the second, third.
Can we buy now and nominate the year coverage?
