  • around 50aud last time on ebay deals i think

  • Thanks op

    How do I avoid GST

  • With wifi can I get two and the kids can play multiplayer?

    • +1
    • you can even play online with others using netplay

      • What games have you found that are compatible to play online?

        • +1

Most of them are compatible as long as you have the exact same ROM. So far, I've only found only game boy advance and PS1 cannot do net play. I've done NES, GB, and SNES over internet and it worked fine.

  • Code does not work. Says something about minimum spend not reached etc etc

    • +1

Pay in USD (preferably with a card with no foreign fee).

For some reason code won't work when you pay with AUD.

    • Yeah it’s not working an error comes for min spend…not sure if anyone was able to use it earlier

      • +1

Refer to my comment above - must pay in USD for the coupon to work.

        • Changed to USD. Same error and slightly more than your description

        • Thanks I was able to get it to work in USD…ordered one 😊

  • Got an RG35XX for $62 in a previous deal and loving it. This is similar I assume, except it has wifi and a slightly worse processor by the look of it. Or is it a better processor?

    • +1

this has one card slot only, RG35XX has two.
      but this has wifi
i will wait for a device that has both features hehe

      • The RG35XX has HDMI out as well.Tempted to get one of these as well, but really don't need it!

      • What is the advantage of 2 card slots?

        • +1

@bashar20 you can load OS on one, and game roms on the other.

    • Which one is better this or RG35XX ? I have just ordered this by the way but can go for cancellation if RG35XX is better

      • +4

Each has their pros and cons.

Refer to Retro Game Corps Video for a comparison

      • +1

I own both and find I use the Miyoo Mini Plus the most…. the wifi is what sways me that way. Net play plus easy to set up so you can just drag roms across to it over wifi from your computer rather than having to fiddle about with the SD cards.

  • +1

Decent handheld. But of a bugger to set up but once done, very good. Highly recommend.

    • In hindsight, if I bought another I'd just buy a preloaded game SD card from someone, to save myself the stuffing around

Goodc comparison for this vs rg35xx.

I picked miyoo mini plus because it has wifi for easy upgrade the OS

    • +3

I got the RG35XX because it was $62 and I got sucked in by ozbargain, didn't know a thing about it when I ordered it, I was pleasantly surprised :)

I don't think I miss wifi, it's not like there are lots of OS updates and it's no big deal to pop the MicroSD into the PC and update it

      • Is there much of a need to update the OS if you’re not using any networking features?

  • +1

remeber to add a $3usd case or something, that should get you another $4 usd discount.

  • Any pre-loaded roms? Or does the buyer have to find and install themselves?

    • +3

Have a search for "Tiny Best Set:Go"

  • Thanks. Paid $76.20AU with UP.

  • I was going to buy a rg35xx mini as I already own a rg351v but realised the rg35xx doesn't have wifi. Which led me here, I'd want wifi for netplay and multiplay. Thanks op

    • Is there a reason you're getting one of these whilst already having the 351v? These aren't gonna give you that much of a different experience.

    • +2

That's US $51.83 after coupon and GST (not eligible for US $4 off every US $20).

Deal post is US$48.29 after coupon and GST (as it's also eligible for US $4 off every US $20).

      • Thanks OP :)

  • +1

Thanks OP. I don't have enough time to play my PS5 so I have no idea why I bought this. Sigh. Can't wait for it though 😁

  • the code doesn't work for me because it says the max discount is already applied. It's in USD so I'm not sure why it's not working
    my screenshot here

    • The Original Item Cost (US$54.94) in your screenshot appears to be either a new account pricing or you're not logged in; hence why the code doesn't work (Total after US$8 off is below the US$50 to use the coupon code).

The original price should be US$58.94

      • I am logged in but this is what I see
        US $54.94

        • US$54.94 is the new/returning users price (confirmed with the 11.11 Sale Welcome deal Banner).

Existing user price should be US$58.94

          • +1

@RichardL: ah ok I get it now that makes sense thank you. oh well it's just a difference of US$4

  • +1

wow, who wouldn't thought in the 90s that in the future you can play PS1 games just from the palm of our hands

  • +1

If anyone is proper addicted to merge boss like I am, even before it had anything to do with the sales, please pm me, we can add each other for more energy.

  • +1

    Good price. Loving my MM+.

  • -1

Can play PSP and Nintendo 64 games also GameCube if you install proper custom jailbroken firmware, might be not smooth but playable

  • Even though I already had a black one I was going to grab a purple one which I see are now showing in stock again (wouldn't let me select it at the weekend) but seems the 11SALE8 code has now expired. :-(

  • This one or Analogue pocket?

    • +1

Analogue Pocket is 10x the price and you have to wait a year to get one

      • Does it really worth the 10x price, I mean the difference btw Miyoo Mini Plus and AP?

        • If money isn't an issue and you want to play physical cartridges, the go with them Analogue Pocket.

          However, good luck finding one.

          • @RichardL: If not play physical cartridges, is there a strong reason to buy AP?

            • @JinWu: If you're not playing physical cartridges, there's no point getting the Analogue Pocket (especially for the price).

              • @RichardL: Make sense, but analogue pocket screen filters looks amazing, how does Miyoo compare to this point?

                • @JinWu: Of course the Analogue Pocket would have a better.

It's also 5x the price (US$219.99) assuming you can get it for RRP (good luck).

Like I said above, if money isn't an issue than go with the Analogue Pocket.

Watch Retro Game Corps Review Video on the Analogue Pocket and the comparison with the Miyoo Mini (not Plus)

                  • @RichardL: Thanks mate, make sense.

                  • @RichardL: The shipping is over $100USD as well! I didn't want to pay $320 USD upfront and wait a year hoping for them to ship it. Plus I don't really like Analogue as a company. I only considered it because of OpenFPGA so I could have a MiSTer in my pocket :D

  • Thanks for the post, I've been wanting one of these for ages.

  • Would definitely pull the trigger if this can handle PSPS roms.

  • +3

    Currenty all in AUD

    • +1

Replace the cards ASAP. They are usually pretty low quality

  • I'm getting "FAILED TO CLEAR AT IMPORT CUSTOMS". Anyone else getting this issue on tracking ?

    • +1

I had that on a case I ordered for my RG35XX lol

It came through after a couple of days anyway

Thinking of getting an R36S now. More powerful than the Miyoo Mini Plus, has analog sticks and can be had for the same price :D

      • Hopefully it clears, I got the miyoo and RP3+

    • Yeah ive just had that on a RGB30 Ive just ordered as it entered Hong Kong from China. It still passed through HK and is waiting in Sydney now.

    • Yeah, I got that on an order last week and it came through just fine

  • Got mine - just wondering what is the latest firmware?

    Mine has 202306282128

Tried to download the latest firmware from https://www.lomiyoo.com/en/gujianxiazai.html but it doesn't update

    • +1

      https://onionui.github.io/docs/installation
Even if you don’t want to use OnionOS the installation page has a link to the latest recommended firmware and instructions to install.

      • Have installed OnionOS but having wifi issues, even on stock. Just says scanning and nothing comes up.

        Does your wifi work?

        • Yes it does. Needs to be 2.4ghz network.

          • @internet-stranger: I have a 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks, only the 2.4 showed - now it doesn't show at all. It would let me type my password in but it would always get rejected.

Not sure whats happened to be honest.

  • Mines been "arrived in transit country" for 4 days :(

    • Now to wait for Australia Post to deliver.

      • Yeah - this ends my run of Aliexpress coming within 10 days.
Classic Aus Post. They seem to have lost my last parcel (a replacement circuit board for my Mavic Mini).

Recently most of my Aliexpress stuff have been delivered by "Fasthorse Express" who seem to be like Amazon Logistics in that they just pay randoms to deliver stuff, and theyve been nice and quick with good tracking.

        • Can confirm "Fasthorse Express" does deliver some of my AliExpress orders. Had a guy rock up at 8pm on Sunday to deliver a parcel last week.

  • Turns out my Miyoo is sitting in Signapore waiting for a plane since last Tuesday. Love that.

  • +1

It came yesterday and i'm loving it!

  • Am I the only one who got email saying timeout and didn’t get shipped? Now it’s starting a refund… I’m confused.

Edit: nvm they were out of stock and I didn’t see their message to extend the wait time.
