  • This or spend more on a monsgeek m1?

    • If you have the money/budget for it, i believe the m1 has better build but wired only vs this having bluetooth wireless.

Stock seems to be running out fast though if that helps your decision making.

      • m1w has wireless however ive heard there are some connectivity issues with the 2.4ghz

  • Out of stock. That was quick.

  • Akko has added more stock
15 stock with the Akko cream yellow switches
40 stock with the Akko cream blue switches

May also be worth noting one of the reviews shows the rgb to be south facing with this V2 version

  • Would there be any noticeable difference between a brand like this and Keychron?

Been looking for a mechanical keyboard with a knob for a while and only really seen Keychron doing it

    • +1

Depends what keychron model you're comparing? I have the akko 3098s - a keychron k2v2 and a k8 pro. Knobs aside, the typing experience on the akko for the price I paid definitely pulls its weight. I personally find it pleasant typing on the asa keycaps of akko and prefer their switches over the gateron pro brown and red that originally came with my keychrons. I feel the gateron reds too light to type on and the browns tactile feel not pronounced enough to my liking…
I'm currently using the akko cream yellows on my k8 pro, the akko cream blues on my ajazz ak992 - both gives a satisfying marbly clacky sound and satisfying bounce back due to heavier springs.
I'd say you'll get a good typing experience out of the 5075b with either of akko's blue or yellow switch and it comes down to you having other specific requirements (besides the volume knob) that's above all else - eg. Aluminum case, VIA/QMK compatibility, modability? then look elsewhere but you'll likely pay more.
