If you have been wearing them for years, you might want to wash them.

    • +1

      There's an idea!

    • +4

Coincidentally, I love the tag inside Step One boxers reminding users that..

'Turning these inside out does not count as a wash!'.

    • +4

      That's step two!

  • +1

Still good, especially at this price, just not quite as good as when they launched, I have washed each pair at least once…

    • Yeah when they were $20 a pair with free shipping it was a great deal. I don't agree with suggestions to just go to Kmart - they aren't the same thing. Sure they might last longer but they aren't as comfortable.

That being said, $35 a pair normal price is taking the piss now.

  • +2

FYI - Sale isn’t on boxers, just the trunks.

    • Boxers carry around lethal weapons everywhere they go, and do not get encouraged

  • +6

These are complete junk, didn't even last 6 weeks before getting holes. Absolute rip off! I've got 5+ year Kmart ones still going strong

    • +11

Hm had mine for many years. Washed (regularly😂) at 60 degrees. No issues at all. Best underwear ever.

      • +8

Yep when I claimed their "12 month" warranty they said because I washed them at 40deg that is too hot and the cause for the holes. (profanity) bs. Scam of a company. They floated publicly and nosedived, obviously massively cutting quality in production process nowadays to try and save $

    • +4

Unlucky I guess. I switched to them 3-4 years ago and haven't had to replace a single pair.

      • +1

Mine only last for 4 days.

    • I had them pill up from the washing machine on first wash. Step One said to wash them in a delicates bag or ensure no jeans with zippers are in the wash. Pass.

    • +1

I found the opposite, my 2 pairs i've had are still fine while the I've gone through multiple pairs of kmart ones in the same time span.

Kmart ones are way cheaper though which is why i never bought any more step ones. But they definitely seem far higher quality to me

  • +6

Why anyone buys their underwear from anywhere else other than kmart is beyond me.

    • +1

You don't have to go to Cincinnati to pick up boxer shorts!

    • +1

what if they need to show off their branded underwear after a date

      • because you look at the wrapping when you receive a gift? (as long as there are no skid marks who cares)

    • other than kmart is beyond me

I get from costco… because my local kmart is absolute bs and costco’s clothing is very decent in both quality and price.

  • +3

looks expensive, ill stick with kmart

  • +1

If they can afford to give 6 pairs for free with 5 pairs, you know their retail price is a complete rip off….. I would pay max $20 for a pair and that's being generous.

    • +1

Well with this deal, they work out to $14.09 a pair

      • But I only want 1, not 11

  • +1

Lame. Sizing only goes up to 2XL on this deal.

  • +3

I can confirm these last 3 years, I wash mine at 40 deg C and throw them in the dryer. No other brand I’ve tried has lasted that long!

    • +3

      Alpha from Kmart definitely does.

  • +2

Thanks heaps for this deal, been waiting for an opportune time to order a bunch for work the Kmart ones are close but just don't compare for Pilbara conditions

    • +1

Do you order undies for work colleagues or do you only wear undies when working?

  • +4

If you are in the market for 22 pairs, the deal comes in at $250 delivered, which is $11.37 a pair.

Unsure if it’s a pricing error.

  • +4
    • Have bought one in 3 different sizes to try for my brother and I. $8 each, but shipping was basically the same price as all 3 pairs… however, if they turn out to be good, it will be wirth it when ordering x amount in the right sizes.

    • +1

The Kmart anti ride are very similar to step one, and are $10 a pair

    • How much for delivery though? Says I need to contact agent for shipping price.

  • +3

are they still buying these from alibaba for 2 bucks a pair

  • +4

    Grab them while you can!
The company is struggling to stay alive, after listing on the ASX just 2 years ago at $3.00 their shares are now languishing at around 80c.
Gived the discounts they are offering it would seem they are struggling for sales/cashflow

  • Tried out a pair years ago
Can vouch for the quality and definitely does not slide up. But potentially that is just the length of these.
Which is also an issue for me, the length. Without one of those pee a boo pockets when doing no.1 the length just end up bunching up if you wear these for work

  • +2

I once had a new lady friend up and leave when I unveiled a pair of these.

    • +7

Probably should have waited until you left the restaurant

  • +1

    What about December?

  • Just FYI does not stack with new user 10% off.

Topcashback have 3-5%, but not sure if it will track with discount code.

  • I have never worn these undies but when I see the ads on TV I just think they woud overheat your boys. Gonads need room to move away from body heat for healthy testosterone production which is so important for males health. They look just too hot for QLD summers.

    • I see you've been listening to Dr Andrew Hubermans podcasts, a man of culture.

I was thinking the same thing today, before even seeing this post, wearing my step ones which I am not a fan of for multiple reasons.

    • Just got a few pair to try , work in underground mining they dont get hot at all but not sure on durability one pair already has holes in them only 3 months old not sure if a one off or they're all poorly made

    • There's plenty of ball room. They're great. I'm in Qld and find step one plus the Kmart clones to be excellent

  • +1

Thanks for sharing. If it was on boxer briefs I'd pull the trigger, but alas trunks only.

  • +3

Purchased the Kmart ones, around five years ago. Recently tried the step ones' underwear and they have become my preferred choice right after laundry. Whether it's their newer condition or simply their enhanced comfort, I consistently reach for the step ones post a fresh wash.

  • I don’t want 11 pair, and tbh wouldn’t care if I missed this. But I’d pay $75 for 5 if someone else in Brisbane (southside?) wants 6 for $80 (med)? PM me if interested.

  • Uniqlo Airism Ultra Seamless Boxers.

    Thank me later.

    • These go out of shape faster than any other pair I've owned. Zero contest for me.

  • Get bamboo briefs from Alibaba best underwear ever

  • The boxers and trunks look the same. What's the diff?

    • The boxers are 3cm longer, so basically the site recommends them for people with thicker thighs, to avoid chafing.
      Taken from their site :
Trunks vs. Boxer Briefs: A Closer Look
Trunks and boxer briefs share some similarities but also have distinct differences. Trunks are shorter and have a lower rise compared to boxer briefs. As they provide a snug fit they are best for those with thinner legs as chafing generally isn't as much of an issue. Boxer briefs, with their longer inseam, offer more coverage and are often preferred for their versatility.

  • Shame the boxers aren't included. I've been using trunks for years which I really like but I get chafing after hiking several days straight for work. Figure the boxers would be better suited for me.

  • Daily reminder that this company is just another Alibaba dropshipping hustle.

    • Thanks, any Aliexpress store to buy these from?

  • I do not recommend these underwear for men that are well endowed, I found them to be very uncomfortable

    • +2

      condolences.

  • How many underwears are there in one pair? One or two?

    • +1

english language glitch. they used to be made each side and stitched together, hence the word pair of underwear/ pants

  • These were great years ago but quality has gone downhill big time. I still have old pairs that are hanging in well, whereas the new pairs are all throwaways.

  • who in their right mind pays this much for undies 🤯

  • Are these quite large, medium is 31-34 waist?

  • The deal has been extended, BUT does not seem to work for buying their mens' "Boxer Briefs".

  • I got sucked in to the hype and bought a few of these.

Tried to stick with them, as I HATE wasting money. Wore them at least a month (yes did wash them!!!).

The Maxx brand from Target is so much cheaper and better for essentially the same thing I had to admit defeat and I am now wearing them permanently.

So I have some StepOne going cheap. Perfect condition no skidmarks or anything. DM me LoL
