Check your accounts/emails. Targetted and you need to have joined their loyalty program (Dough Getters). But the $5 can go towards any purchase, no minimum spend (but you won't get any change if the total is below $5).

You actually cannot tag it as targeted yourself. You or someone in the community will need to report it to let a mod/poweruser know. Some people do [Targeted] at the start until a mod comes along and update it.

I've only ever used it when promotions come up.
Same - just use the promotions. Only spent a few $ over years.
In May received Get your hands on $5 of dough after a purchase.

I don't eat their main product - fairly bland bread, it doesn't appeal to me.
A far better Vietnamese bakery opened right beside local BD. Can't see that BD surviving.
Only eat their FREE food (eg birthday scone) or occasional reduced price pastry offer. But the bakery next door produces far better tasting food, cheaper!
There are so much better independent bakeries!
Considered closing account & app as so rarely used.

I didn’t get it. I’m guessing because I shopped there recently. On the plus side, I did score a free scone on my birthday.

Wonderful that their App is down today, just when everyone is wanting to use their free $5, typical of the digital world we live in.
Haha I was just about to come here and post the same thing… it looks like a certificate expired yesterday which is causing the issue. IT team asleep at the wheel.
Yeah got caught by it. The app started working in the evening and I could load my card etc, so I thought I would redeem it. The apple bun was already on the counter in the bag and I had $2.50 in coins ready to pay the difference. Then she said not working and shoved an Eftpos machine in my face. Not impressed. But contacted customer service and they extended the voucher for me and logged the $7.50 purchase so that's ok I guess. Still i'd never pay $7.50 for that normally, Bakers Delight is horrendously overpriced for bog average and small products.
