Rocking a Tudor Date-Day right now (Tudor's homage of the Rolex Day-Date). Love the day of week at 12, personally!
Looks much better on the Tudor, with it being higher up, replacing the hour markers. Wow - nice watch!
If I had that Citizen, I'd probably warm up to it. Overall I like it.
not sure I'm a fan
So you could be
It really is a very elegant nice watch.
tbh I prefer the Eco-Drive version of this watch. Better date window placement and a better price: https://www.watchdepot.com.au/products/citizen-aw0100-19a-ec…
Paying a bit extra for the Milanese bracelet I'd wager
Fun fact: @rosebank has every one of those watches unopened in his suitcase (as he's currently overseas).
I'm back baby
I don’t mind the BU4018-11H
The BU range are nice. WN, myself and others bought the BU2040-05E a while back for just over $100 from SB. Day, date and 24h subdials.
Still can't believe WN flipped theirs!
@WatchNerd: I stand corrected, yep.
My comment on the original 5/06 deal was because I'd bookmarked the deal, but the code changed for that lower price by the time I ordered.Still a fave, this 46 that wears like a 44.
I'm buying my first watch, and I'm struggling to find a watch I like. This ticks most boxes, what's everyone's opinion on the price.
If you're struggling to find one you like, then don't buy one. That's the ultimate bargain.
Other watches in Citizen's C7 series (of which this is one) are around this price, although this black one with the Milanese bracelet is a bit of a rarer beast. I've seen the blue one discounted a bit more occasionally, but if you particularly liked this black one you might find you wait around ages to get it twenty bucks cheaper.
Price is going to personal. If you don't have any watch you might be more willing to pay more for something you like. For those that already have a collection they might be more discerning and not be willing to pay as much for something that is a bit similar to one they already have.
not sure im a fan of the day window up there near the 12 position. Still a handsome looking watch overall.
