How do they compare to Google mesh ?
The regular google wifi (not pro) has AC2200 compared to AC1900. And they may have better security / vulnerability protection since its google. But I just do not want another google thing routing my network.
How does it compare with deco 3?
I wanted to upgrade my Tenda M3 packs. Is this a good option ?
Would like to know this as well.
I upgraded from a Tenda M3 and it's a night and day difference.
I think the main problem that occurred were the units were placed too far apart, even when they had full signal to each other.
No more dropouts, 100mbps speeds are sustained and the signal is great further away
Thanks for the review. Will start to invest in one of these pack.
Thanks, I think Tenda M3 is inferior products…
I thought I read as Tenga packs. Please don’t Google it
When someone says don't Google it… I have to Google it
Don’t leave us hanging…
hmm might bite at this as an upgrade of my cheapo Mercusys Halo H30's
even just for the gigabit vs 100mb of the halo'sThe 2 pack hit $65 this year and the 3 pack flat 'puck' version was down to $100 so hopefully these head south in price.
I bought this recently. Flawless experience, no complaints - would recommend 100%. I’m on a 100/20 NBN plan and I get advertised speeds everywhere in my house now.
Feeling much relived after seeing this since the $plurge.
Hopefully we are going to see some deals on Black Friday.
Yeah me too hoping
Is this better than deco m5
In minor ways. Just time m5 vs S7 on google and you'll get a comparison on tp-link website
Bunnings sells wifi stuff? What the.. isn't it a hardware store?
home and hardware
They sell smart home devices and also ev chargers
how's this vs amplifi instant?
Anyone with wifi issues - dont delay! Switch to a mesh network! I wasted a bunch of time with bigger routers and /or range extenders. Access points running cables on roof….
I switched to a mesh (X20) it instantly solved devices dropping, cameras not connecting.

would this work better with my existing asus ax86u router or stick to cheap asus router for AIMESH?
Does this have separate bands for 2.4ghz?
Yessiree
That’s good with separate bands. Got stuck on that with Google nest wifi and smart devices. Had a Dlink for-895l running 2.4 for that purpose. Otherwise Google not bad. Would’ve gotten this if not having Google already.
If you have Ethernet all over your house, would this be still the best solution or Mesh?
Get a mesh system such as this one, but connect each unit to the ethernet.
Thanks mate. Does this have multiple Ethernet output ports so that I can connect a desktop via Ethernet at the same place?
Yep looks like each unit has 3, so you'd have 2 spare per unit to connect PCs, TVs etc.
