  • I also got spend $50 three times and get $20 back at menulog. I initially thought ok not bad but the offer is spend $50 on 3 separate transactions (min $150 spend) to get $20 back once.

On top of that the shop small offer this year allows you a chance to go into a draw to win a share of points.

    Amex offers have gone downhill.

      It's $20 upto 3 times. So that's $60

Nope, it reads the way @Momo1988 says. One $20 credit for 3x $50 spends. Dumb deal. I would have stacked it with my $15 for $50 spend…that would have been a bargain

        • Mines different then, see below

          • @abs898: I also got the crappy version, $50 3 times to get 1 $20 credit back

    • They were never good

  • everything I checked on webjet is 75$ more expensive than anywhere else

    • If it's vs a dodgy website I would rather go Webjet. But also easy to get their GC at 5%. So if you combine both, you might have a winner.

  • Interesting evening. As I was planning me next Asian hols anyway, was comparing some hotels prices, usual tactic - direct hotel, Expedia and other aggregators, and after I saw this post, Webjet.

Noticed aggregators were about 10~20% more than direct hotel, probably as some may have coupons/cashback. Webjet matched direct hotel, so went with them to get the $75 back. Note: 0.98% surcharge with Amex.

Icing on the cake was, I created an account before with them to make the booking process easier, and got a further 10% member price off the price I was happy to book anyway, so pleasantly surprised.

Confirmations arrived within minutes, hols in a few months, so initial experience so far so good…

    • How did you match direct hotel price?
      Was the discount code generic?

      • I meant Webjet showed the direct hotel price by default, no markup, no code needed.

        • I see thanks
