The quality is actually good as they use Vodaphone I believe, I've never had any issues living in a populated area.

      • Is this coming for Black Friday you think?

        • Not sure, usually around new years I see it

Kogan 500GB was $160 last year. Actually, telcos, google, bing, nokia, apple, sams, motor, twitter, meta etc should pay data costs which mean unlimited internet data at least 100GB/month or 1TB/year. just like no cost to use public phones nationwide.

crazy this would get downvoted… People be like no I like paying out of my own pocket to get adverts delivered to me 24/7 whilst the device I'm holding comes from some of the worlds most richest and powerful entities!

      • Telcos spend billions to build and operate mobile networks. Its one thing to say other big tech pumping you ads, if you choose to use them, should subsidise individuals or telcos directly. But to say the Telcos themselves should is very misplaced. Now if big tech was regulated to give a portion of revenue to the Telcos that would be another matter. But there is not.

Public phones are free, for local calls, because they have long since been paid for by government subsidies and Telstra profits many times over, interconnect costs are low, and it benefits Telstra marketing/PR keeping their brand in peoples faces. It's not magically free, its a marketing strategy.

    Bad network.

  • If you're broke, juggling first month sim offers can be a cheap way to keep the internet on.

  • No free or 10c deals? :(
May as well stick to boost deals.

  • 4g or 5g network?

  • now we don't have cheap plans or sims anymore ayy like $10 or less…seems common price are $15/m.

    • You can get that price if you buy yearly plan.

    • You're posting on a deal that has it listed for $5 for the first month..? Or you mean ongoing?

      • use to see alot of $10 or less per month like Kogan have 3 months for $15…

  • FYI, they're quite sneaky about the auto-renew as there's no way to remove the schedule or payment details. You'll have to call them to cancel:

No Lock-in contract, but plan will auto-renew and recharge monthly from the date of purchase at the following prices (Small – $15 Per Month, Medium – $25 Per month, Large – $40 per month). Cancel anytime by calling the Kogan Mobile Customer Service Team
