Wouldn't trust all the reviews. All left within three days
They're definitely paid reviews; they all have photos.
So much for AWS AI to weed out fake Amazon reviews. Oh, wait.

Q: Is this fan battery operated?A: It is not battery operated. You only need to use the charging cable to fully charge it, and you can place it anywhere and use it without plugging it in.
…
Yeah in the context of "you don't need to put batteries in"
I love when Chinese marketing teams photoshop the sparkle and leaves into the ‘visible wind’ - reminds me of Mr Sparkle bit from Simpsons
It has three levels of super strong wind, and you can experience the coolness it brings to you.
Do I need it … That is the question
Still Holding for Xiaomi Desk Fan
One of mine didn't last 6 months with occasional use.. Stopped misting, for a decently strong fan it's OK. Cool little light too when it WAS misting.
As someone from China, in my hometown, this kind of small electronic product might cost less than 10 RMB, which is roughly 2 AUD. The price of $14.99 here probably includes at least half of that for international shipping.
storage costs and selling fees for these items aren’t cheap either. but I agree the fees for shipping is insane too
Nope, shipping fee is negligible too because they put these in cargo ships with thousand tons of other stuff. The main cost for this kind of business are Amazon fee and Australian warehouse if there is one.
What do you mean Australian warehouse?
Everything is stored in the Amazon warehouse, that's one of the ways Amazon makes money.

Reckon these will come up again ?
I bought something very similar a few months back (very similar shape/style with the clip and everything but rebranded) for like $8. It's decent enough, good if you're a cheapskate and you live in Sydney. Has 3 speeds and it's portable so I can carry it onto my bed.
