Any suggestions for 96% options?
I personally haven't used Nuphy before but reviews seem decent online.
Other options I have trialled:
Akko keyboards are pretty decent (have one myself): https://www.pccasegear.com/products/59903/akko-pc98b-plus-bl…
Keychron is pretty good too (there was a great keychron sales early this year):

I have heard some good reviews about monsgeek too:

Was eyeing the Air96, then I saw Nuphy really squished the spacing between keys and the rows. Compare Nuphy's layout VS other 96% boards eg Akko's.
I'm the opposite ; I've got a Keychron K4V2 and when i saw the V5/Q5 i was disappointed with the additional spacing - it's not a deal breaker for me when i upgrade but definitely something that would sway me if features are comparable to another brand.
It took me about a month of regular use to get used to the key locations but that's like all keyboards I use.
Got the air 96 2 weeks ago
Such a beauty
What makes these worth so much compared to those available by big brand names already sold here in OZ at cheaper cost? I don't see the value….. unless i'm missing something??
Mechanical keyboards is a rabbit hole of choices, options, styles and function. It's akin to audiophiles, where speakers can seem similar, but the costs difference can be huge.
You can easily find mechanical keyboards over $300.
How is software customisation for these?
Currently using MX Keys and love having the shortcut button to take screenshot for work.
Not really a deal, you can get it cheaper locally. For example Halo75 is AUD179 here with free shipping. USD $103.96 + $21 for delivery is about AUD 195.

I have Air75 Brown. I really like it, though I wish I went for a 60. Don't use the extra keys anyway.
The shipping basically wipes out any savings. You can easily get 10% off directly at the Nuphy AU store by signing up.
Shame they haven't brought the Field75 to Australia yet.
I recently received my Air75v2 with the Wisteria switches and it's honestly the best keyboard I've ever used and I've had probably 15+.mech KB over the last 10-15yrs. I'm actually blown away how nice it is to type on.
I bought it as a replacement a for my ancient Poker X (MX brown) and Keychron K3v2 (gateron brown) as a portable keyboard but it's night and day better. The Keychron feels like a laptop keyboard stuck in a frame.
I've even using it as my main KB since I got it.
I'm pretty tempted to replace my Glorious (Kaliah Copper) with another NuPhy.
But shop around as they can be had locally for decent prices too.
Good deal for Beyoncé
