  • Does amyone know if these stack like Flybuys offers?

    • It says Woolworths for a reason. But you’re happy to try and report back to us.

      • +1

I'm not sure about your inference. The question was do these stack like Flybuys offers do?

I.e. you can use two flybuys points offers (e.g. spend $50 get 1000 points and spend $70 and get 1200 points) at the same time. I.e. spend $70 and get 2200 points.

I dont shop often at BigW online, but there is currently this offer (spend $30) and an offer for BigW app (spend $60).

It was a genuine question. So I apologise if I have offended you in some way.

        • +1

Yes they stack like flybuys. I misread your ‘like flybuys’ for with flybuys so I need to apologise as well.

Jeez a good one to be targetted for atm. You can also buy this and something else for a few $ more to make money from this deal

  • I did not get this! :(

    It is targeted

  • Not so far this time.
Received & used a few times this year.

Since taking up 4000pt offer to subscribe to Everyday Extra for 1 free month & 1 $7 paid month (no longer a subscriber) - all regular good offers have disappeared😢

    • you took up that offer on all your accounts?

besides this, best other offer has been 2000pts each week with $40 spend in multiple transactions, for 3wks, a variation of this

      • Definitely an advantage with multiple accounts - for more choice of offers😉

This offer appeared only on 1 account at a time. So only used few times this year.

Used to take up the 2000pts each week with $40 spend every week for many months. Often on multiple accounts. So sometimes used more than once in a week.

You linked my favourite past offer - usually staggered across multiple accounts at a time. So always only took up week 3 offer of 3000pt for $50 spend.

        Apart from the 16000pts for 8 x 1c spend I posted 2 years ago😉
And frequent 2000pt for 1+c offers.

Most pts in 1 visit to Woolies: 26000 for under $10 total spend!

Now those offers are just a memory😢
The Everyday Extra sub came with 10% off, pushing my spend from $40-$50 to $120/wk!

Will have to retrain the algorithm by spending very little for a while😂

The day I joined everyday extra I lost all these offers too, I now shop at coles..

      • Thanks for confirming my suspicion.

Warned about the likelihood of missing far more attractive offers - after subscribing to Everyday Extra…
Once you pay a sub, they've got you. You WILL shop at Woolies. So no other inducements necessary!
        Sadly was proven correct.

Everyday Extra subscription offers on 4 Rewards accounts, received total of 13000pt!
Last offer before subscription was 5300 bonus pts for $100 spend, so combined with subscription 10% off💰

I expect offers will return. I bought so much on monthly 10% discount on 4 subs, I won't be buying much at Woolies for a long time. Hoping they'll miss me😉

        • Being on Woolworths Bunch doesn’t help as I am already heading there. I signed up for a 12 month subscription also which I still have over 6 months left on since they extended it. I very much doubt they miss me as I was only spending $50-$100 a week as it was (2 of us and a toddler). With coles though, I’m getting the $50 a week for 10,000 points monthly deals so I have definitely changed my shopping habits. It is a shame as I am going out of the way for coles now but oh well, wait and see once this subscription ends.

          • @EBug: Luckily… Coles, Aldi, & Woolies are in same local shopping centres. (2.5-4km) So I shop whichever has best price or pt offers. I like to be flexible.

            So I wouldn't lock into a paid subscription service with 1 store. Took up 4 offers of Everyday Extra for 1 free month & 1 paid month ($7ea). Received the 1 x 4000 & 3 x 3000pts. Then cancelled.

Sometimes take up Coles 4 x $50 shops for 10k pts. Don't like being locked in even for 4 weeks! Miss a week & miss all the 10k points!!

Up until recently Woolies Rewards points were much higher value & more frequent for me.

Had so many thousands of bonus Rewards pts from simply scanning card when buying as little as 1c.
(Received that 2000pt offer for 1c min spend by 31/10!)

          • @EBug: As I often recommend in points offers, consider the Return On Investment & ease of obtaining offer.

Coles 4 week offer requires $200 min spend for $50 Return in points.
(But miss a week - no bonus points!)
            There are other points offers.

Woolies frequently have the best ROI…

1c min spend for $10 Return in points (my offer until 31/10)
Requires a 30c min spend for me.
A vastly bigger ROI & easier than any I've seen from Coles!

For less than $10 spend in 1 shop last year, picked up Return of 26000 Rewards pts ($130)💰

            • @INFIDEL: I’ll be honest, I couldn’t remember the last time I got a points deal in the thousands from Woolies. I don’t spend hundreds of dollars each week so I don’t remember ever being targeted with those kinds of offers. The coles offers on the other hand work for me even if I have to commit to 4 weeks. If I can’t think of anything to order I buy baby formula or something I was needing anyway so it works out.

              • @EBug:

I don’t spend hundreds of dollars each week so I don’t remember ever being targeted with those kinds of offers

It's not the spending which brings in the targeted bonus points offers @Woolies.
I only spend $40-50/wk at supermarkets!

More likely the not spending some of the time… I like to tease the algorithm, to keep it keen😂

It's having multiple Rewards Accounts with at least 1 good bonus pts offer (in the thousands) each week between them.

Over many years of doing this, has been rare not to have that happen😄
(eg 1 offer of 2000 bonus pts for 1+c spend now)

Most offers are binned (eg 3-10 bonus pts per dollar), unless can be combined with a good bonus pts offer.

Only use each Rewards card occasionally - only scan when claiming a good bonus offer.
Many scan same card for EVERY purchase - Woolies don't need to encourage them to shop there!

Keep spend to required spend on offer - otherwise next offer might have increased spend requirement.
(Flybuys is known for raising it's spend in the 4 weeks for 10k pts offers. Multiple accounts means there is usually a card with 4 x $50 spend.)

Late June, took up a targeted 25,000 pt ($125) Rewards offer to switch electricity retailer - was only on 1 Rewards Account.
Retailer also gave $150 electricity credit.
I switch retailers about every 2 months - for a good incentive. Effectively pays for my small electricity bills.

Have been using these strategies for years. Almost always have $10 or more for next spend on each Rewards card.
Have commented how to do this in many Deals.

Has been very profitable in bonus Rewards points for me💰

                • @INFIDEL: Rewards card with offer of 2000 bonus pts for 1+c spend, is my least used card. Because it rarely receives good offers.

Last used in May for 1000 bonus pts for 1+c spend! (Spent 34c)
Before that was used over a year ago.

So these rare good offers… seem only to entice me to use the card🤔

                  • @INFIDEL: Another offer has been added to that card as 500pts for 1c min spend each week for 4 weeks starting 2/11.

      • Same with my partner. She got all the good deals. None since subscribing to extra.

    • Seems by not spending much for over a month, offers are returning… on 2 of accounts.

      2000pt for 1c min spend by 31/10🎉
      6000pt for 3 x $40 weekly spends
Otherwise the usual 3x to 10x which are binned.

Thanks OP - I had missed this.
Targeted on only one of my many accounts….
