ShopBack also has a 6% cashback on top, so that should bring the total cost down further by another ~$40.
Looks like 15% extra discount option has been removed now
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB3v_BvtBUo after this comparison any dyson fan just a fancy fan…
i got one, the fan is pretty weak. not sure about heating, its too hot atm. smart features are great thou
I've got one of these, the fan is absolute crap. Not sure about the air purifying quality as that one is a little hard to gauge to the human senses.
Going to get a refund ASAP.
I have the older HP06 unit for the last 5 years. Completely satisfied, apart from very expensive genuine OEM replacement filter.
As usual, the aforementioned comments are ALWAYS subjective and rely upon the buyer's expectations and/or remorse.
For me personally I have operated my unit in a hot and humid sub-tropical location (North Coast NSW). The fan operation is very different from a normal floor standing fan. It is fanless and does not have the buffeting of those units. The airflow is less buffeting and puts less pressure and irritation on my eyes in either a static or oscillating positions.
During bush fire season and also winter season with many neighbourhood woods fires, I find the air purifying HEPA filter feature to function effectively. Being an asthmatic, this was the feature that was the deal-maker for me. I also have air-conditioning in the home, however I prefer to use the Dyson.
If you prefer a full-on powerful blast of air across the room, this is not the unit for you. In a standard size room the Dyson will operate quietly and effectively (say 3mx4m) in all modes, cooling, warming and air purifying.
The Dyson app while complicated at first to set up plus the remote control unit are both satisfactory in their performance.
The reason why Dyson can be expensive is because they invest heavily in research and development, unlike the cheap Yum Cha clones out there that end up quickly as landfill. Black Friday sales coming up and a good time to buy in time for summer. Like I stated at the start, mine is 5 years old.
If you want
Dyson air purifiers are pretty shit. They don't work as good as those air purifying are their main function nor as those work as a fan.
