Referrer and referee get $10 off.
Bit of a stretch there. But yes, they are very over priced! I love me some good budget sunnies but really struggle to find decent alternatives to Oakley Turbine that suit my mug, fit well and comfortable. Always welcome suggestions if anyone has!
For all those negs I'd like to share my experience. I purchased a pair of their sh177y sunnies for $300 15 years ago (oil drum or some crap like that). They lasted 3 years before the lenses started delaminating, then the leg snapped about 6 months later. I then bought a set of polaroids that I still have and wear on a regular basis (gardening, mowing, going to the beach, building decks and pergolas, they've seen it all and haven't fallen apart.
OAKLEY sunnies are ure utter garbage.
any suggestions on polarized sunglasses? budget is around $150 before cash back.
Gibston are the only ones that dont look like im some sort of weird bug eyed freak
Discount is off RRP, not off sale items
Good timing, dog just chewed up my Holbrook's on the weekend. :-S
And you'll buy him/her a new pair to munch on? ;)
It's the first pair of sunnies she's chewed, so I'm hoping it's one off.
Get 2! He would look cool in Holbrook ice iridium
@lostinsydney: She's a GSD, so a pair of Holbrook's or Aviators would probably suit her… lol
CR has 14% cashback offer available as well atm on top of discount
But won't using the codes in this deal invalidate the cashback?
the deals are listed on the CR website. so cashback should apply I believe. please correct me if I'm wrong
Just made a purchase using the online code and cashback has tracked. Cannot say for certain it will be approved later down the track but having it tracked initially is a good sign.
Code not working on Sutro Ti glasses which aren't listed as being excluded.
not working for me either.
Yeesh still $250 with 2 discounts applied.
I'm good thanks.
Other brands offering similar products for $100 less and more specialised products as their RRP + these discounts.
Which brands? Always curious to know as the markup on Oakley must be astronomical.
I've bought several cheaper Polaroid aviators.
Sungods weren't bad. Not a great anti -scratch coating but that's a bit universal with plastic lenses.
There's another fishing/hiking brand called Venture, lost mine kayaking but were good and polarised.
I tend to buy Julbo from overseas (an expensive brand locally ironically) for hiking/riding/climbing.
I've gotten pairs from legit Germany and UK companies for $100-150 no problems.
There's a similar brand to Julbo but the name escapes me, they offer in the $75-150 normally. Again a bit specialised.
The only thing I liked about Oakley's were a few models had rock solid hinges.
But nothing to justify $300+.
Cheers op. Got some batwolfs with some spare icons to drop the price of the glasses from $280~ to $160~
Nice. Got a pair of Half Jackets to replace the ones my son lost. Added a set of socks to get the 40% discount, so sunnies + socks are cheaper than sunnies alone.
I just did the same thing and got the 40% off. For some reason I thought it had to be a purchase of 2 sunglasses initially
Excludes goggles??
Why??
