    What is your tyre width?
    Is it more than the max 225mm rating of these ramps?
    From memeory, XR6 tyres can be 245mm. (maybe less).

  The height to ground measurement of 285mm doesn’t make sense if these ramps are supposed to be low profile, that’s only 15mm off the old imperial measurement of a foot.

  These are a very old ladder design, which are quite heavy compared to the lightweight plastic low profile ramps that are available for a lot less money.

    Could you please link a lightweight plastic ramp? Doesn't have to be low profile. Just low enough for sedans

        Be aware that the only purpose of some of the “low profile” car ramps is to raise lowered vehicles up so there is enough clearance to get a floor jack underneath.

  If you are just changing oil, you can try 200x100mm x 1.2m treated pine sleeper (<$20). sawn in half (on a 45 degree angle) would do. I got more than enough clearance (raised 100mm) on the two cars I changed oil on, one being a Corolla. Lay on some cardboard to get under.
