Xiaomi Yeelight Cabinet Sensor Nightlight

Main Features:
✅Easy Magnetic Suction, Perfect Corner Fill Light: No wiring and complicated installation, light up the small corners of your home with a simple suction.

✅Simple Two-Step Installation: Stick the magnetic base on the place you want to mount the lamp, then put the lamp on the base. The light bar can be removed freely and used as temporary lighting.

✅Warm Tips: Please make sure in the right position before sticking to it, for the powerful adhesive tape is disposable, which can avoid any unnecessary loss.

✅As thin as 0.9cm, High-Grade Metal Texture: Simple design, slim to 0.9cm, industrial style, blends easily into every corner of your home.

✅Intelligent Light + Human Body Sensing, No Need to Turn ON/OFF the Lights Manually: Built-in light & human body sensor lights up only in the dark environment when people come, saving power, no need to worry, easy to fetch, and hands-free.

✅Large Capacity Battery, Worry-free Use On A Single Charge: The battery capacity of the cabinet lamp is up to 1800mAh, and it can use for 4-6 months with one charge. Supporting USB-C charging, both positive and negative can be plugged in. Anti-overcharging circuit protection design, the red indicator light is on when the battery is low or the power turns on, and the green indicator light is on when it fully charges.

✅Based on induction lighting three times a day, each time for 20 seconds, calculated when the battery fully charges.

  • compared to last deal, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/798801, change is; free ship is over $50 instead of $100

    • and this deal got a lot more votes

  • +8

Can get the same thing for $12 on aliexpress.

    • Ozb knowledge on point

    • -3

I mean, you can get anything cheaper from aliexpress.

      • -1

What's your point? This is ozbargain, if you like to pay more for the same product then this site probably isn't for you.

        • -3

          'same product' bruh

          • -1

@nikoris: Yes. Do you work for yeelight? You seem triggered that people can buy the same product elsewhere.

            • -2

@devize: Yes, i work for yeelight. You got me.
You must be one of those guys that buys the knock off and proudly says 'i paid less for the same thing' ozbargain is full of those lol
I've bought lights from aliexpress and i have bought yeelight bulbs, night lights and strips and the difference is there.

To be fair the ali express one says 30 day battery life. Friends got one from aliexpress and said battery bared lasted 2 weeks. Usually found xiaomi battery quite good. I have the mijia night light 2 and its been solid. Battery last months and l have it set for 60sec Illumination

      • -1

'But it's the same and i can get it cheaper'

        • Defo looks the same. If the battery is acceptable then yeah worth getting. Be great to hear back from more buyers on battery duration

          • @tpenthouse: I installed the aliexpress version x2 under kitchen cabinets 4 weeks ago. Still running fine on first charge.

  • 4-6 months with one charge.

Very impressive, is this accurate compared to the aldi one which lasts 1week.

    • +1

      I can confirm.

The Aldi one seems to last for maybe a couple of hours of run time, if that. It’s a joke.

      • The specs stage the following

        Working Time: 3h / 2.5h / 2h (Bright light always on)
Sensing Time: 4~6 month (Induction 3 times per day)

So don’t expect a stack of run time here either. Their figures are based on it being used only 3 times a day.

        • Strange as I have a led light with three AAA alkalines and it is still on original battery for years, probably has a hundred hours run time.

These rechargeable lithium-one strips are brighter but last less than two hours, maybe only one. I think the sensor drains the battery, plus battery too small and light too bright,

          Pointless, don’t buy.

          • @Grok: I don’t think they’re pointless, but need to factor in how often they’ll be needed versus willingness to recharge them.

I have one in the door of my home server rack which is handy. Barely ever open the door so it does get the 6 months (or felt that way), and being in a rack with IT gear I could leave a USB cable connected if I wanted. Also magnetically attaches to the door which is nifty, without needing to apply the metallic stickies included.

I think I’d go nuts if I had these in a kitchen cupboard and needed to recharge this every month but, especially if I had a few of them.

I added 3, checked out but the shipping fee is still applicable! Not free!

    • Yep, same thing. 3x lights coming up $59.99 perfect, but the shipping still hitting. Well that's a shame.

Edit: I'm an idiot and didn't change to "Standard" shipping, rather than "Sendle Domestic".

  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/268233/nodes see the past posts,, i dint think any of these well received.. if you can wait for a week or two , aliexpress is much more cheaper..

  • Just bought something similar to this from Temu and was like $9 shipped.

    • +2

So all cabinet sensors are like same for you hey

    • Bought one from Temu lasted about a week before it stopped working, quality is soooooooo bad.

  • How do you know if this light is of warm white colour? Only 40 cm 4000k black is available

    • 4000k is closer to cool than warm, but I'd say it's neutral. For night lights in the bathrooms and closets I use warm white 2700k-3000k

Be careful if you have used a coupon with this mob before, Check your TOTAL at checkout, I added 3, initially the price was $59.99 but at checkout when I added my email, it put the price to $119.97. Very sneaky, it said i already used this coupon, I tried the coupon again, but same result. A different email worked fine. Also, in the past I tried reaching out to customer service by email several times. No one followed up. I know the quality of these are better that the aliexpress ones (In my experience, they have much better magnets, the light holds better and aren't easy to knock down). but they have ZERO customer service.

Lets see any response from OP

I got this from Temu for $12 and it's crap, got the 30cm version

LED is not very bright, the sensor sometimes detect you, it doesn't work at pitch black night or even dark night cause the sensor can't find you

  • Ikea has similar ones, but hard wired. They look really nice. They come cheap too. If wiring is not an issue for you.

    • Ikea starts from $10

  • Any recommendation for sensor LED strips (2m)

  • Still waiting for 2700K warm white to come back in stock

  • All OOS .?
