Thank you for this, this stuff definitely worked for me. The smell is not too great.

  • Anyone used this for scalp psoriasis? Or can recommend anything?

I use this to control the seborrheic dermatitis I get on my face. Only product I've ever tried that actually does anything!! Give it a crack

One of the famous Dermatologist advised use of all three (Selsun, Sebitar, and T-Gel) alternatively - it works well for us

      I'M NOT A DERMATOLOGIST

      Yes. Please try this.
Over two or three consecutive days apply liberally to the affected area on a dry scalp, let sit for 10-15 mins then shower. Skip 2 or 3 days and repeat the process once more. Then you can use once a week or so if needed after that.

      I'M NOT A DERMATOLOGIST

This helped clear up FACIAL and SCALP issues for me, and a friend who had quite severe facial dermatitis. Although it will most likely come back in a year or two.

The active ingredient is Selenium Sulfide (2.5%) and is known to be very effective against certain skin conditions, BUT is also banned in some countries from what I remember 🤷‍♂️
I wasted hundreds of dollars on dermatologists who only ever prescribed steroid creams.
I hope this works for others too and I'm only posting this because I know how debilitating and embarrassing these conditions can be. And this process worked.

  • Reviews aren't amazing

My review: it is far far better than head and shoulders, but the chemicals are harsh on your hair. You will need to condition your hair after use.

      • +1

Fortunately head and shoulders works well for me (mild dandruff). Maybe less active ingredient but I don't need to condition. So much cheaper than this stuff.

Works much better than head & shoulders for me

  • Can this be used on bald head?

    • +1

It has a thick enough consistency to, ensuring less exposure/dilution in water in the shower would also ensure more consistent treatment if that makes sense?

  • 5% off if you order above or equal to $40 total

    Blue one $3

      Only half as good

Will get it for $6.25 at Coles, and then a stacked 20% off (Flybuys Week 3) plus use 10% gift cards (Amex Myer Deal) plus a 5x Flybuys points bonus. Brings it down to less than $4.60

Ordered 4 of them thanks 🙏

Got one for my little doggie

Anyways, please make sure it is suitable for use on little doggie.

    Psa
I've had dandruff for ages but used head and shoulders and it's all good.
About two years ago it comes back crazy.
Itchy head all the time and a rash.
I can't figure out what's happened because nothing has changed…….. Turns out Europe banned the good stuff that was in head and shoulders so they took it out.
I switched to shampoo that had zinc somethingarutha in it. Bingo, back to normal.

    • Head & Shoulders doesn't work for me. Selsun Gold is amazing.

awesome, to those who actually bothers to walk out of the house and get something.

Just to throw a conspiracy theory out there… do you think these companies create shampoos that dry out our scalps and cause flakiness, then of course it creates a need for another product to get rid of said flakiness by selling us an anti-dandruff shampoo?

For mine I just find a product that doesn't cause that problem… bit of a scam imo.

It's because people think the shitty $3 shampoo at Coles and Woolies is "good enough". Good shampoo costs money, these guys save that money and then spend more on shit like this
