505Wh Portable Lithium Power Station with 500W (750W Surge) Inverter $399 Delivered / C&C/ in-Store @ Road Tech Marine

51

Features:

  • 500W Pure Sine Wave Inverter
  • Battery Management System (BMS)
  • Built-in MPPT Solar Charge Controller
  • 505Wh Lithium Ion Battery

Looking at the specs/photo's it does appear to be more limited in outputs than the usual listings (VTOMAN, Anker, etc)
with only 30W (specs) 45W (photo) output on USBC

So I really depends on your use case

Not sure about the brand, or the quality, however seems to be the best price per watt of the portable power stations with 505Wh for $399

Also seems to be stocked at local stores so might be a good option compared to overseas models

  • Not sure about the brand, or the quality

only 30W (specs) 45W (photo) output

Going to say if they can't even get usb power output consistent, the quality has probably taken a bit of a back seat.

  • how many Ah?

    • From Specs:
      Battery: 21.6V at 23.4Ah Li-ion (505Wh) built-in

  • Will this be able to run one of those portable fridges for a weekend?

Without solar? Smaller ones maybe yes, more power hungry rather no. It isn't easy to tell, because portable fridges don't have same power consumption and their insulation also varies. Everytime you open it, some heat gets in. If it is left under direct sun, it has to work harder etc … so it is really hard to say.

It will run the 50L from here for 2 days, according to the specs which say it uses 250Wh per 24 hrs.

  • A lot of bang for your buck. I paid about three times this for a Bluetti with only twice the capacity.

    • Larger battery pack will have larger inverter. Not quite apples to apples.

  • Careful with this one. Jaycar had it on special and when we went to look at it the store staff dissuaded us from buying it suggesting it was on runout because it couldn’t maintain 12V properly and was putting out more like 10V.

I did not buy or test the claim.

The 300w MB3767 version has a less-than-12v actual output - this 500w one has a 20v+ LiPo pack that gets stepped down to 12v. I've used this one to charge DJI drone batts on USB-C @ 45w, which the 300w one would not do.
