IMO good flush cuts are just not worth it.
I have tried a few dearer models and they are not significantly better than china specials
I now buy 10 packs of the blue handle china specials for $2-3 each and chuck them when dead

Can confirm, I also use the blue handle cutters from AliExpress/eBay (which you can get for ~A$3-$4 each).

  • Also keep in mind the electronics super knips aren't actually flush (there is a slight difference between the jaws to keep them from connecting and dulling each other).

Can this be used for the gundam models?

I've got a set of these, they're really smooth to use and sharp as. Definitely my favourite set of cutters.

Compared to the Blue Handle China specials? They're definitely way better - but they're not 6x better ($24 vs $4). If you've got the dollarydoos to spare, I reckon they're worth it. But I also like having a whole stack of the blue handled ones sitting within arms reach of anywhere in my house….
