  • 2 of these or one of the samsung 57" ?

I got one of these, enjoying the more realestate, but however one down side i didn't know before buying is this monitor does not have auto input switch, which is a bit disappointing as monitor older than this can this functionality.

  • I have one. After half an year, I changed it to Alienware 38. This LG is a very good monitor, just too small for my needs. May grab another one for a dual monitor setup, which will be a better option than a 38 (for production purposes). But, I have already “upgraded” Alienware 38 to LG c2 42… and I still have a classic Dell 34 ultra wide in the box.

    • I’d be interested in your thoughts re my question below, thx. 👍

  • Would the HDR and black levels on this be basically equivalent to the LG 27UK850 (which I have)?

While no match for my Samsung QLED I’ve found it fairly decent for XSX/PS5.

Primarily a work monitor but handy for gaming when the TV is occupied.

  • good panel and quality but usability is a con for me. i.e. no dedicated source change button

    • While you are correct, the joystick on my 27” LG is the best monitor interface I’ve personally used, and much better than the equivalent Dell that I also own.

      Click > left > up/down > click.

I have a MacBook via USB-C and a game console via HDMI.

You may have to buy a new desk to use it.
The stand has a clamp to attach it to the desk.
So make sure your desk has a good edge that can support the stand and monitor!
