Sorry to whoever reported this as targeted, I did write it and someone’s taken it off 🙂

I think scab is when you work at the struck company during a strike. I haven't heard the union calling for a boycott yet.

  • +2

Principles aside, I can't stomach the taste of this milk. Not sure what it is about it, but it's not for me.

    • We are a lactose free milk family so will give it a go and see how we go with it

    • +4

I stopped drinking cow milk around 5 years ago, I can't stand the taste of it now.
      Each to their own.

      • +1

        I am the same

      • Ice cream?

    • +9

Stay ignorant, stay stupid, lactose intolerance is what a majority of asian people have and isn't an allergy. It's a lack of enzymes. It does not trigger an autoimmune reaction but causes stomach upsets.

      But whatever floats your boat.

It is like saying if salt causes hypertension, dont add salt to food. Stupid comment from stupid people.

          • @azukay: Dont add salt for people who already have hypertension. Get it right

            • +1

@U30004: Do you even know the function of salt in the human body? Maybe google it before you talk nonsense.

              • -3

@azukay: Oh yaa "google it" and become an expert

                • +1

@U30004: I work in health, I already know the role of salt in our body, it is to help your weak mind comprehend, since any journal articles is probably too advanced for you.

                  • -3

@azukay: Like those journal articles have ever found a cure.. its all about selling as many pills as possible..

    • I agree. Fair skinned people shouldn't go in the sun and all the people that were allergic to COVID should have just drunk bleach. It's the fault of the politically correct fake news i tell ya.

    • Clearly you have no idea what your talking about. Lactose is a milk sugar that is not digested and ferments in the gut which results in its symptoms e.g. gas. There is no immune response and is not an allergy. You can supplement with the enzyme to alleviate symptoms or you can drink milk that has lactose pre-digested e.g. lactose free milk…

Why drink it at all. Full of puss cells and growth harmones

        • Why drink water, it is toxic.

Still haven’t collected the Coles one because it’s never in stock 🙃

    • +2

Same, I've had these freebies offered through Coles and Woolies a few times and never once managed to get one.

      • I managed to get my Coles freebie last month but I have heard of people having issues. This sample is not available in any of my local Woolies stores, but I was already heading to a further shopping centre on Friday which has stock so will see how I go.

I managed to get mine on the weekend along with some free cheese, haven't tried either yet.

Is it a good idea to be giving out free milk while dairy workers are on strike, and shortages loom? https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2023/oct/17/milk-…

    • I did hear about this, I do live in NSW though so not sure what effects it will have on us.

    • +1

I am sure this would have been organised long before.

    • +1

It seems it's not the dairy workers on strike - but rather the transport workers who deliver the milk.

A2 does well by their dairy farmers. They do charge a premium so there's plenty of room to pay their farmers more. It's mainly the farmers supplying the cut-throat Coles/Woolies Homebrand milk that are doing it tough. Even if it's not $1/L anymore, costs have risen so they're back to square one again.

This is why it's worthwhile for many farmers go through the expensive process of tailoring their herds for A2 protein genes.

  • Didn't get this but received an amazing points offer instead. 2000 points if I spend $30 at Woolies then $30 at Big W THEN $30 at Ampol (not 2000 points each, 2000 points total).

What did I do to piss off Woolies so much lmao

Thanks OP, was succesfully targetted, and a regular user of it, cheers OP!

    • No problem!

    • It is the supplier's offer.

  • +1

    Got it!

Received 3 for free, and promotions glitched so scanned for 4 unfortunately now I have 4 individual transactions on my account anyways, don't care what you think go eat bleep

  • +1

Got this… As well as the A2 milk from Coles…

Time to make some more ricotta !!!

The email just came through at about 11am for this.

  • +1

I buy 6L of regular full cream milk a week, and they target me for a 1L specialty milk with no lactose aha

  • +1

How come I’m never targeted to any of these 🥲

    • I haven’t gotten a freebie from Woolies in a long while, not sure what the criteria was for this one but I buy a lot of lactose free milk 😂

      • I got free cones last week and now I'm stoned without ice cream

  • That reminds me they haven't had the excruciatingly bad A2 Milk Promo on the Block this year. Unless I missed it, which would have been a real shame.

  • +1

I tried to get the normal A2 by mistake, no way - even tho cheaper. So, now giving sweet pretend-milk to the cat.
