  • Used one of these at work, pretty interesting concept.

  • Anyone have issues with the wireless charging?

Its starts charging my Pixel 7, then an amber light starts blinking.
Tried with no case as well.

I have 1 monitor and laptop plugged in~

    • Kind of the same problem, with my s23u standing upright it won't maintain 'Fast wireless charging' but once I turn the phone sideways it works fine.

Had the flashing amber light when I threw some airpods on it though.

  • Does this mean I can plug my m1 MacBook into this and power 2 screens?

    • +1

You can have two extra screens but they will be a mirror of each other, in other words can only have one extended desktop.

Your situation demo towards the end:
      https://youtu.be/eKYKUeTQAKo?si=rIX0e-EpXsrEnc1d

Edit: You'll need an extra adaptor for 3 seperate screens.

      • The demo is using a M1 Max, which supports more monitors than normal M1 (or M2).

The normal M1/M2 supports 1 external monitor + 1 internal panel. That's it. It's due to how the chip is designed actually. Apple do display buffer quite differently from Intel that's why you can't hack more than 2 outputs. Software-based monitors (like Sidecar, DisplayLink, AirPlay) can be added, however they're very resource intensive and quality is not as good as native outputs.

The reason the two external monitors in the video are mirrored is because this dock uses DP MST hub to achieve multiple outputs. However Mac does not support MST in general (there are people saying some Intel Mac models supports MST, however I never see any in person).

    • You need a universal dock that supports Displaylink drivers if you want to have dual monitors for M1, so I would avoid this dock if that’s what you’re after. I use a Dell D6000 dock that supports Displaylink and can handle 2 4K monitors.

  • does this dock work with the new Iphone pro? not he wireless charging part but the extended/mirrored screens.

  • Tech dude here so dumb question.
How do I switch my screen and peripherals between my work laptop and my home desktop with this ?

I currently use a 2 way HDMI KVM switch that has remote button to switch screen, cam, mouse, KB and speakers between computers.
I do however have to plug 3 cables into my laptop - Power, USB and HDMI. There is a 2nd screen too but it's plugged directly into my desktop for MSFS.

    • Hi scott
I also had similar question with this kind of product.
shortly, you might need some other peripheral called "Wacom link plus"(which is discontinued, but no successor)

      1. PC normally doesn't accept c-type connection with display.
      2. we're trying to connect all the perpherials with one dock, which controls all in one cable
      3. so, we need to have a dock which helps us to connect with one type-c female port which allows both display and data output from pc

      4. buy wacom link plus, connect display output and one usb connection to it from pc

      5. connect all the perpherials you want to connect with one type-c cable onto this dell docking station
      6. connect dell docking station to wacom plus, then you'll have one-line pc connection with all accessories
6.1. connect dell docking station to laptop with just type-c cable without wacom plus, one-line laptop connection with all accessories
      7. et voila.
      • Thanks
Sounds like my current setup might actually be the simplest despite having to plug 3 cables into my laptop.
The toggle button beside my mouse makes switching easy.
