Nintendo Wii Bundle for $419

180

Received the target catalog in the mail today advertising the Wii bundle for $419. The bundle consists of -

  • Wii Console
  • 8in1 accessories pack (steering wheel, tennis racquet etc)
  • Wii Sports
  • Sonic Unleashed
  • Samba de Amigo

Decent deal. Try and get it price matched at EB, they will usually itemise the games in the receipt. You can then refund/exchange the games under their 7-day return policy.

Sale starts on Thursday November 27th.

Edit - If Kmart has the items in store, they might be able to match it and give you 10% off the difference. Now that is a bargain :)

  • Weird, looks like the same catalogue but different pricing. Could this be an error?

    • They changed the online catalogue price to $419! :)

      • Fantastic, they finally came to their senses!

  • Very bizarre! I changed the postcode on Lasoo to Perth's postcode and it is still showing as $449 on the catalog. Though the price that made it to printing is probably more accurate anyhow!

  • Good tip on EB though.

    • EB is usually quite good with their games return policy. Though in bundles, EB most likely will leave the games with full price on the invoice and reduce the actual console price to reflect the total 'bundle' cost.

    • The plot thickens..

    • The price is 419.00 now!

  • I haven't received the new catalogue from Target yet. However I do have their previous "All I want for Christmas… Toy Sale" catalogue with me at the moment, and it has a Nintendo Wii bundle for $419, which includes

    • Wii console
    • Wii Sports
    • Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games

Maybe a mis-print because they had a Wii bundle at that price before. Best is to grab the catalogue outside the store and see what price is printed on it.

    • I guess we will find out on Thursday. Would be awesome if Target honors the $419 package, or else it is price match time @ Kmart/EB. This should work with the $200 min spend Flybuy $20 giftcard promotion too.

  • That would be good indeed. Sambe de Amigo is still a new game, could worth $70 itself.

  • I asked at K mart if they will match prices and I was told they wouldnt match price for Wi ( hornsby store)

    • +1

Try EB. The EB in Perth city is easy going, I went in there a while ago mentioning a deal in Target. They matched it no questions asked.

  • Received my catalogue this afternoon and price is $449. Strange.

  • They must updated with the online catalogue to compete with other stores as the catalogue I received in my letter box (@ SA few days ago) is $449
The other $419 from Toy Sale promotion already expired.
FYI to whom thinking of getting Kmart to price match, I can confirm that they never do price match on bundle as I'd asked before & none of the stores do this.

    • Aren't Kmart and Target both operated by Wesfarmers? Shouldn't they have consistent price across the board?

      • I think Kmart and Target both operated by Wesfarmers but Target & Kmart never had the same price and you would think they will price match with Target or vice versa but it never happend!

      • Target and Kmart should have the same prices. the same as Officeworks as all of them are operated by Wesfarmers, but just today I made Officeworks match Target's price on a label printer and they even gave me 5% off. :)

  • Just picked one up at brookside in brisbane. They had run out of the games and accessories. They gave me $40 off for the 8 in one pack then let me choose 2 of what games I wanted, got super smash bro and sonic olympics. Then used my wesfarmers flyer to get another 10% off. Total cost was $340 :)
