The price in title is after all stacking discounts have been applied, using a trade-in device valued at $5.

I was not able to complete checkout because Asurion (the trade-in provider) is broken for me but I expect it should work for others.

To get this price:

  1. Install the Samsung Shop app to take advantage of the 10% discount for your first in-app order. Use the app for the remaining steps.
  2. Add the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 512GB to your cart. You must choose from the online exclusive colours only.
  3. Navigate to Computing & Display > Memory & Storage > Memory Card > EVO Plus microSD Card. Add 2 of the 64GB to your cart.
    This should now have activated the additional 20% off advertised here: https://www.samsung.com/au/youmake/
    If it hasn't taken effect, try forcing your cart to update by incrementing the quantity of SD cards, then decrementing.
  4. Add a trade in device to take advantage of the $600 trade-in bonus. You can use the TradeUp app to generate a $1 code for generic headphones (Or so I've heard. Asurion doesn't work for me. I added a $5 Huawei Mate 20 for testing.)
    For reference, my total at this point is $1,382.
  5. Apply your 10% loyalty code.
  6. Apply your $100 loyalty code.
  7. Apply your $50 newsletter code.

I featured this particular device because it is eligible for the trifecta of bonus trade-in, stacking 10% discounts, and 20% off with the https://www.samsung.com/au/youmake/ bundle. For example, the 256GB model does not work, but the 1TB does. It may also apply to the S23 Ultra and Flip5. If it's not working, try testing combinations of other low-value products advertised in the above link instead of the SD cards.

            • @homersyd: I mean honestly if u dont want to waste ur time.. u can always jus use the app to order flip5 512gb blue.. get the 10% off first time user for app, apply secret 10, 10 percent and 50/100 discount and 400 trade in etc.. u can get it for 635 .. which is quite good .. at least u dont need to bundle with buds which is only worth it if u can return the buds..

    Tried to cancel my buds but received the following reply:
    "As per checking here we won't be able to cancel the order since the promo is stackable with the phone. This is a bundle and we won't be able to separate the order."

  • Had no luck getting a $100 code, but got given 2 10% and 1 15% discount code

    The 2 10% don't stack. The 15% cancels ALL other discounts including the trade in value.

    I just wanted the $100 so I could make my purchase of a fold being near 1k haha

    • The 15% can't stack with anything in my experience (not even trade-in, hence the suggestion to ask for 10% instead), got it once. The 10% can't be used together in 1 transaction if that's what u mean, but should be able to use it with the trade-in and other promo in this thread (you can use them in 2 different transactions).

      • That was indeed the experience, learnt quickly the 10% ones won't stack, but can be helpful for a later purchase

        The 15% just wipes the apps first purchase 10% bonus so it's worthless to me (currently). Granted they only last 30 days anyway, unlikely I get anything within the new few weeks

    • Problem with this trick is that nobody has yet had their order shipped after cancelling just the buds.

      • My order status is already showing as 'shipped,' but I haven't seen the tracking number yet.

        • As per my previous comment, "shipped" doesn't mean its been dispatched, all online colours are considered "custom", so they take longer to prepare, and because of this the automatically generated delivery time on your order page isn't necessarily accurate. Instead the time frame is actually 3-4 weeks, though it may arrive sooner. The actual moment your order is dispatched to you, is the moment you receive a notification of shipment.

          As for your decision to cancel the buds, I'm not sure thats gonna fly given this is a promotional deal for a bundle (you are in fact, bundling the phone with other products to create the youmake bundle. And their stance on that is "If the product being returned is part of a bundle or comes with free items, all products including the free items (if any) in the same order must be returned.".

          • @GachaGamer: But if you manually cancel the buds through customer service, he will also agree to assist you with the cancellation and provide you with the refund amount that matches the one on the invoice.

            • @tri1073700227: Yes but the fear is that they will simply cancel your phone as well, and also refund you that, you are getting the phone on discount because you are buying it bundled with other products, if you are no longer buying the other products (and you have yet to actually physically have the phone), they are still within their rights to cancel your order for the phone as per above it has not actually been dispatched.

            @GachaGamer: I purchased the Samsung S23 Ultra, in an online-exclusive color, approximately a month ago (was part of the ozbargain deal). The estimated delivery time was 3-4 weeks, and my order status indicated that it had been dispatched, although no tracking number was provided. However, on the morning of the expected delivery date, I received a notification from StarTrack stating that my parcel would be delivered as scheduled.

              Unit cost for the S23 Ultra with the SD cards combo is ~$725 (I had it in my cart for a short time) .. the Ozbargainer within me says to wait tomorrow to save the $25 and the hassle… but also, they could patch it by the end of today..

              In the same boat as you, $1079.88 in my cart ready to go.

            • @homersyd: Yep that's the correct amount if you are doing 2 x buds2.

              If when you add the 10% loyalty code and it doesn't decrease the price or doesn't show up under the promo code as redeemed, something in your cart is not eligible or out of stock. Play around with a different colour. S23U Sky blue 512gb never worked for me but Graphite works every time. I also had to use buds2 lavender cos the white colour one didn't give me youmake discount.

                I'm in the 'try again tomorrow morning' frame of mind just to knock off $20-$40 off the unit price of the S23 Ultra. But it's very tempting to just full send and order it today and deal with the refund process later upon delivery, just to mitigate any event of them waking up and patching this discount stacking mechanism..

                Reading the terms and conditions of the change of mind policy, seems pretty doable- you just need to bring the Buds to a Samsung authorised agent who looks at it, approves it, then you ship it off and get a refund..

                    I think I'll just umm and ahh about it for the next hour and probably bite the bullet. A flagship phone (well, 512GB instead of 1TB) for $757 in today's money is basically unheard of..

                    Furthermore, in my testing I learnt the youmake discount does NOT bundle with the 1TB variant of any S23 Ultra, for anyone who's curious.

                  Just sell them yourself because it will (profanity) up future deals. Samsung are aware of people trying doing this.

                    Sorry, I'm confused how you would lose the discount after payment has been finalized and you have the products in your hand. So long as it's within 14 days of delivery..
                    It's an itemized invoice.. so would they not refund the buds?

                    That being said, have heard several people cancel the items before it's even dispatched and leaving it to fate to decide..
                    Think I'll just wait on this one and try again tomorrow early in the morning with the SD-card / USB combo.

                    • @xis123: Maybe you didnt read all the T&C. There is a set for the youmake bundle as well where it says this. Someone posted it in comments but deleted it.

                      Its possible they could just take your buds back and not refund any money because the discount you received was more than the cost of the buds. Its possible they wont even allow you to refund unless you return the phone as well. There sre several possibilities..

                  About 12 months ago, I did a pre order bundle deal with phone, case, charger etc … I had a genuine change of mind, they made me photograph all the items to ensure they weren't opened and send them back.

        • Anyone got the order confirmation? Paid and get the order received instead, is say "Thank you for choosing Samsung, your order has been received and is currently being reviewed. We may need to contact you to verify your order.

          Once your order has been verified, you will receive a order confirmation email and your order will be processed.
