I have found that the ratings are exaggerated on some of these chargers and they give trouble with multiple devices such as not supplying the rated power or switching on and off when adding a device

    • +1

Check linked previous deal for everything from house fire and unreliable problem shit talk.

      • +5

Got one from one of the previous deals, no issues fast charging a phone and laptop at the same time or getting the rated wattages using an usb power reader.

        • Same experience, supplies the power ok though does disconnect when plugging in a new device. Wattage meter is actually kinda useful.

          • @bamzero: Yeah that seems to be a common thing, is it different on the expensive $100+ branded ones ie do they use better chips to handle the switching etc I wonder?

        • Thanks for sharing!

I've been using one for over 6 months, no issues yet. With all the multi channel PD chargers that I have used, even the branded expensive ones, they all seem to do a quick re-connect for the charging connection for other devices that were already charging when you plug a new one in.

I use it to charge my Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro 6, iPhone 12 and S22 Ultra all at the same time.

You have to look out for chargers that were designed to be cheap from the start and differentiate them from chargers which are normally more expensive, but are on sale or discount to a cheap price. This Toocki one is normally $100, when I bought mine on sale, it was close to $50.

    • True…

  • +1

    I see it for:

    Total item costs US $28.08
    Total shipping Free
    Tax US $2.81
    Total US $30.89

    Converts to ~$48 AUD

How are you you getting $41.61 AUD? How much do you see it for AUD? Is there a new account deal?

EDIT: I opened the link incognito and comes up as $22.58 USD welcome deal for new aliexpress members.

    • +1

~AU$37 with a new account and also my old already existing one. (before tax)

  • +2

Have this unit and used it for 3 months now everyday. No issues at all, easily charges my 15" macbook and phone at the same time. Recommend.

  • +4

Looks like you need to retain the sourceType param in order for the price to appear.

https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005061354906.html?sourceT… comes up as ~$37 before tax
Just https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005061354906.html is $45 before tax.

That said, the timer is just less than 8 hours on my screen.

    • Included in post.

    • +3

Yep OzBargain's URL field scrubs the sourceType automatically, so the mods have to manually add it.

      • Fixed

    • Thanks.. Now the question is do I need 3 of them… ahaha

      • Yes, yes u do

  • +1

I've got this from the previous deal. It hasn't exploded yet. Can recommend.
My only gripe is it can't do 2 (dual port) 60W at the same time

  • I see a small amount of "charger died after a month" reviews on there (and also on the Asometech 140W which appears to be the same unit), I wonder what's up with that.

    • +1

Most electronic devices are more likely to due in the initial phase of use, due to the failure curve which says that any issues will show in the first few weeks of use, then nothing for the life of the device, and then failures will appear again when the device is very old due to wear and tear.

Also, most people who post will post when there is an issue. If there is no issue, they won't post their positive experiences unless there is an incentive to do so.

    • +1

They are cheap chargers, with every corner cut and no QC.

Basically like buying a HEYMIX without the markup.

      • +1

true but its a GaN Charger for a steal of a price!

    • They replace it immediately if u complain so no need to worry!

  • I like saving money like every other Ozbargainer.
However, cheap chargers is an area I won't go into again.
It's not just the wasted money if the charger isn't up to par, its the expensive electronics connected to it that can blow up.

    • +1

what if its not cheap but this is the actual fair market value

    • Its priced very well, its wholesale prices M8, @Trojan

      • @ENERGY: As a matter of interest, why are you replying to many comments within this deal 1 month later. It's already expired. Are you trying to chalk up comments as have seen you make a good 10 here in the last 5 mins?

        • M8 Get real, I already answered your questions and wasted my time doing so, why come back for more?
          EDIT:
Get off this website 24/7 no one gives a shit what you have so say, just post your stupid comments about the product and piss OFF

  • +1

This one is the Asometech rebrand for AU$38.89.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/804276

    • Same same but mines a much better cheaper deal!

  • Not related to the deal - but wondering how you could post an Aliexpress deal while on "L plates"? I couldn't do it when I tried the other week

    • Cope buddy and get over it :P

  • +1

Been using this since March. Works perfectly

  • +1

Same here. I bought one for a spare, and the wife jumped on it, as she wanted to charge her notebook, mobile, etc while she was working from home. I ended up buying another to finally have a spare when we travel. Both chargers are working fine, one is about 5 months old, and the other is just two months old, but no complaints at all. Just a side note, none of them burnt down our place, and even one is being used for a few days a week.

    • Thanks for sharing!

These seem to be of decent quality. I just a had quick look of reviews of Toocki chargers at AliExpress. This is a very popular brand, so there are many reviews. When looking at 1 star reviews and review with additional feedback left, there were no mentions of them catching fire or coming apart. There are a minority reviews claiming they don't deliver the stated power. But the reviews are mostly positive.

    • +1

Yeah its a steal for sub $30 aud!

  • Nice deal - how do you find these special links?

    • U should already know but since it sounds like ur not tech savy and or a boomer, use a vpn and spoof ur location to a poor 3rd world country

  • +1

Grabbed one as needed "a GaN type charger and was humming and hawing over this type or a the Anker 65W wall type charger! This seems to cover more so touch wood it's decent(ish). More for testing things rather than a hidden away unsupervised charger. Thanks OP

    Product Overview

    • All good man, I'ma pick one up soon, just thought I'd share the absolute steal of a PRICE!

      • +1

Have you come out of Hibernation "Replying" to everyone's comments only now i.e. 1 month later :-).

        • U caught me!, Busy man I am + I don't actively find deals nor post often enough. So I have found time to come out of my "Replying" hibernation faze lmao.

        • BUMP!

  • its coming up as US $22.48 for me

wait nvm gst bumped it up to 25

    • It changes all the time, use vpn and spoof to get lowest price

  • there any AU plug 120 Wat chargers even if it is just One Plug ?

    • Get the euro version and get a figure 8 aus power cord and ur set man, or find a more expensive listing with one included?

  • +1

Have this, its brilliant. Seems to be solidly built and gets on without a fuss. PS no housefires

  • +1

Would not recommend. Mine died after one month.

    • Get a replacement?
I know the consumer law doesn't apply but if you contact the dealer or company and complain they will replace it free of charge but you might have to haggle with the Asians!

      • They refused. Thye said it was out of warranty

        • Out of Warranty and only one month old. Did you contact Aliexpress direct as surely it has more than that?
Having said that, I checked the papwerwork included in the box and no mention of warranty period which is dodgy.

Perhaps make a side enquiry (different user) asking how long the warranty is on their products..

        • Yeah, it should be covered for 6-12 months, did u get it off Aliexpress?
Just keep complaining and make sure u tell them that the other representative said they would replace or refund it. Works every time.

  • +2

I bought one but wouldn't recommend.
    Reasons:
    - The USB A ports are upside down (go figure)!
    - It resets current charging devices if a new device is plugged in.
    - The USB A on my one: When a second device is plugged in, the first stops charging. I need to unplug it and 50% of the time they then both charge (but not always).

I complained about the USB A issue (not as advertised) and sent a video showing the issue. As always Aliexpress stepped in (same day) and offered a 60% refund (OR if preferred could send back). I was happy to keep as end price was AU$15.67. Nice CS as always Aliexpress.

    The Pros:
    - The LED Watt display is very handy to check what the Output is and if the USB cable is working well. I ran my 17" notebook off it for a day and unit didn't get at all warm.
    - Beyond my issue using two USB A's concurrently, the USB Cs work fine along with single USB A.
    - Decent price .

  • thanks, got one for $38 AUD

    • Coupons?

      • Nah it was just that price for me, VPN price was same as non VPN price also
