Strong battery life with 15W CPU + 59Wh battery
Thanks to penguiniman for the following review:

pros:
- Very long battery life, gets even longer when changing power plan options
- Well built, hinge is very sturdy
- Solid performance

cons:
- screen gloss gets annoying when you're viewing in an environment with direct lighting, next to a window, etc
- screen seems to bulge out at the bottom slightly from the frame, not a lot but it's definitely not flush
- the included pen sucks

  • Nice spec.
    I don't need it. Or do I?

Fabric + Aluminium (Top), PC-ABS (Bottom) case

    …shame

  • USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort 1.4)

So if with not having thunderbolt, the cons are just slower transfer rate and not able to use external gpu? Thats all? Or i am missing something else?

Seems to be the right laptop for a proper review.

    300 nits

  • I dont see any slots on the body to keep the pen. Where do you store the pen?

    • +1

If you want a Yoga that stores the stylus in the chassis, you'll want to get a ThinkPad Yoga.

I'd go for a second hand one. Cheaper, older, but still a fantastic device.

You'll have to store it separately in something like a laptop bag. TBH the included pen sucks to use, it works but it doesn't glide smoothly at all (squeaks on the screen) and the button placement is annoying.

  • This or this?

Going to be using it for work only, but want solid battery life and fast. Don’t really need the 2 in 1.

    • If you're using it for work and want good battery life avoid dedicated gpus, so I'd say neither since if you got this you'd be paying for 2 in 1

      • What about this - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/394580015778?
What if I need to decide between the above vs https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/394646574663?
I don't really need the GPU, but I am seeing more people going after the AMD version despite the fact that the i7-13700H seems to be much faster and I can't figure out why.

        • Summary

          AMD ver: AMD Ryzen™ 7 7735HS + RTX3050 + 3k display 120hz 400nits
          Inte ver: Intel i7-13700H + 2k display 90hz 350 nits

          It's a hard pick for me…

          • @beOson: Yeah maybe just go for the dGPU one, keep it off performance mode it should keep the rtx 3050 idle

    • I have this, it fills the criteria of both IMO, very fast and with some conservative usage (not opening a trillion apps at once) it'll last all day quite easily.

  • With the Australian dollar in relative freefall, the time is running out before prices will increase. Good deal.

  • Looking for an international travel laptop that isn't a hassle with charging. Would this laptop charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable plugged into something like a LENCENT 65W GaN travel adapter?

    • Yup

  • This or https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/803206 ? Mostly office work and maybe occasional gaming to an external monitor (Valorant, Roblox).

How does this compare against the recent HP 13 inch deals?

  • Was going to get it but its OOS 😅

Anyone have tips or leads and anything similar for this price?

Very good deal for a work laptop for around 1k. Slightly better deal last week Zen book 14. Got one and it's awesome 👌

  • do you think lenovo has more stock of this just removed it from ebay?
