netgear wireless adapters are fairly decent (software support is a bit lacking), but their routers from experience are very unreliable. i'd suggest a linksys instead - it's a bit pricey, but it's reliable
i recently bought DGND3700 N600 Modem Router. too bad its not on list.
I have the same router, its fantastic! Ive not been able to fault it at all, unlike every other router ive ever had!
I pricematched MSY at officeworks and got $100 off the price they had advertised.
Isn't this a bit old? Netgear are always doing a free adapter with certain routers.
Yeah, first saw it couple of weeks ago on MSY website
even though i have a modem router, this is still a pretty good deal. you get a wireless adapter for FREE and not just a shitty one either. nice one OP!
Here's my experience with Netgear: http://twigstechtips.blogspot.com/2009/11/netgear-dgn2000-ov…
This was after one of these "Free Wireless N USB adaptor" promotions also. Never buying another product from them again.
tldr; "Bottom line, NetGear will happily give you a broken product and pretend it didn't happen."
If you want to watch iptv don't buy Netgear as they don't support it.
