What's your suggestion? Zeller?
Square charges 1.6% transaction fees. Zeller is 1.4%.
Zeller was a pain to set up as they will ask a million questions but the lower fees is worth it.
Still not quite as good as Commbanks SmartMini at 1.1%
Zeller is good. Mint is also.
Though, the SmartMini is almost half the fees.
https://www.commbank.com.au/business/payments/smart-mini.htm…I personally am not a Commbank fan (as a business), but thir logo does bring a level of 'trust' from the older generation when 'paying to your smartphone'. So its worth it.
CBA machine - failed at least 2 days every year.
@bbtlovebbt: Square are on track to beat that this year
@bbtlovebbt: Huh; 99.4% uptime then.
Thats pretty high praise compared the the competitors.
I noticed that Zeller and Square both claim they don't charge investigation/chargeback fees, while CBA charges $30 per dispute. Interesting…
That's correct.
Though I don't find it interesting. It's on their main fees page; doesn't feel like a hidden agenda to me.1) Why Zeller and Square both cover that cost (technically speaking they "cover" it instead of being "free")
2) Not much information on how much involvment of the process from merchant's perspective, if a fee is charged and also how often customers charge back their cards successfully@xmagic: We have very different interests; which is fine.

Print and carry to OW
Won't match for a membership deal
So what is the best for low volume business?
Commbank mini if you need a plain eftpos machine. & your customer won't really ask a pritned receipt.
Square is useful when you need a POS as well.
Have seen small food truck uses it. Tap a few buttons to add up menu items ordeded then print a kitchen and a customer docket after the payment. Then just shall out "order number 8" when it's ready.
I've been using Zeller and had no issue.
Set up was easy and the interface is user friendly too.
Incase anyone cares <3
They charge higher fee only good for low volume business.
