I saw the 10W40 part synthetic is cheaper, but this one is full synthetic. Pretty good for $35!

Are these oil better or comparable to Penrite Enviro+ GF-S Engine Oil - 5W-30 and Nulon Apex+ 5W-30 ?
Yes and no.
MB229.5 are full fat oils (and they are the best full-fat oils you can get), but your car needs to not have modern emissions equipment or it will get clogged up.
Those oils you listed are anaemic due to having to not clog up emissions equipment. If you do have said emissions equipment then you should not run 229.5 oils.
Thanks for your reply. I have a 2010 accord euro. Not sure about the emission equipments
@Mortin: Repco website says this oil is no fit for my vehicle
@Mortin: try Shell website

@Mortin: Just follow car manufacturer's recommendations and specification and you'll be fine
@Mortin: Accord Euro owner here. That oil will be fine

Full Fat? This is engine oil not cooking oil! What a hilarious post! Pure nonsense….
This or Castrol Edge?
This has better ratings than castrol
That's interesting, I would have therefore thought it would be a very popular deal at 5L for $35. If Castrol Edge 5L 5w-30 was this price it would be hugely popular?
Im thinking people are compaing shell helix ultra which this is not.
@Spendmore: So is Castrol Edge more like Shell Ultra rather than HX8?
@placard: No its pretty much on par except the 5-40 grade which is better, shell helix ultra is better than castrol edge though.
Does this fit a 2004 corolla
I logged in and it was still $53
When added to cart, it becomes $35. Thanks ,Got 2
Thanks OP, got 3!
Full synthetic 5w30 for $35?!? CHEAP!!!
Thats very cheap for an official MB229.5 oil.
