Good advice when buying ANY gift card.

Still have a $50 DJs one … to spend very soon. Mid Season Sale is on.

But sales haven't been as attractive as in past & $50 doesn't buy much at DJs!

Lots of changes at DJs. Most staff at local store have been moved on. Next nearest store was closed last year.

Over years, staff knew my frugal ways & suggested great bargains. Even put things aside until I showed up.
($185 shoes for $21, $360 cool wool suit coat for $47 less $20 voucher, $50 DJs polo for $10 less $10 voucher, $150 G-Star Raw shirts for $27)

Recently received a $10 birthday voucher from DJs. Unlike previous years - not much on sale at that price. Usually check the foodstuff.
Found good underwear discounted to $10. Staff member suggested buying a 5 pack at Aldi for 99c more. Seems even DJs staff don't buy there.

  • DJ could have reinvented themselves like Myers. I guess the leadership didnt have the know how to do it.

    • I mean isn't Myers struggling badly as well?

Not exactly someone to copy lmao

      • They're doing alright considering they were in the same position as DJ. No doubt DJ wishes they were posting record profits like Myers is.
