Similiar to this deal. But without need for education account and should be able to stack with Shopback

Doesn't seem that cheap. How much are they normally?
It launched this month, and this deal combine with cashback is cheapest so far. This has a similiar build to the higher tier Lenovo Legion Slim 7 and weighs around 1.75kg with an OLED screen being its major selling points.
What's better about the slim7?
Well overall it has slightly higher build quality, like full metal build, ports that light up when plugged, longer battery life, runs cooler and slightly slimmer (i think).
It's a monster of a deal. Makes me wish I needed a laptop.
Click the link. It tells you how much it was.
That would require the bare minimum amount of effort
Finger injuries are rampant these days from such frivolous activities. One of the perils of modern living.
Shame I didn't see this when the decent cashback offer was on…
Shopback are doing 13.2% right now which I'd still consider decent. Not peak rates like 15-16% but still good enough to me.
I'd rather pay $1,500 and get 7840U minus the RTX4060
Will this run Fortnite?
WILL THIS RUN MINESWEEPER?
Will this run OnlyFans?
It runs on only fans (it will literally melt itself without fans)
What game is running with a 4060 as max res on this though! I have a 1080p laptop with a 4060 and that struggles on max resolutions with certain games
Use resolution scaling (DLSS , FSR etc) but yeah the iGPU probably isn't far behind the 4060 probably
What laptop? And what's the maximum power draw on the 4060? I've seen some gaming laptops limit the 4060 to 80W which cripples it.
I have a Legion 5 with a 4070 which only delivers around 15-20% higher FPS than the 4060. I just finished Baldur's Gate 3 at 1600P, max settings (no RT) with DLSS on and it averaged above 60 even in Act 3 (the rest of the game can hit as high as 120), so the 4060 should be capable of 60. Modern games heavily rely on DLSS to get mid-range GPUs (especially laptop variants) to hit > 60fps.
Tempting
But I don't need a laptop 😓
Thank you for sharing
Maybe get a tablet then. I've heard Panadol are quite good.
Upgrade to 1TB for only $59 also.
Which is great, except urgh it's $300 more to upgrade to 32gb ram!
its only 2k after cashback with 1tb and 32gb
Yeah it's still a good deal, I mention it only because on most other models the upgrade price is $69 for the 32GB.
yeah just bought an idea pad 5. yay
Would the cashback work even though the promo code isn't listed on shopback?
Yup, "Cashback is eligible on any official Promo/Discount Code listed on the Lenovo website, regardless of it being listed on the ShopBack merchant page and up to 3 units per eligible product"
thanks!
Getting tempted !!
14.0% cashback @ Cashrewards today
https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/lenovo 14% Cashback at Cashrewards for today
Tempting with the 14% cashback
i've configured it to 32gb ram and 1t hd, which came to about 2300,asked for a deal with the online rep, and got another $100 off on the deal.
def worth speaking to the online rep and ask for a deal.
But then no cashback for neg deals? or has it changed?
Yeah from the Cashback site for Lenovo special terms:
Cashback is ineligible on the following:
Just purchased. Stacking this Lenovo deal + Cashrewards 14% + I live overseas so a family member will claim GST back and carry it over for me.
Also, signing up for Lenovo Rewards appears to give ~$45 worth of reward credits.
Bugger - looks like cashback options have reduced to 3 to 5%
The cashbacks come back every fortnight and I expect Lenovo would keep this deal at minimum until Wednesday.
13.2% cashback at Shopback
Should work out to $1,716.90
