Has anyone owned and can comment on these? Wondering on the quality of the ANC

The reviews seem surprisingly good for such a cheap pair of earbuds https://www.scarbir.com/tws/redmi-buds-4-review

Edit: and the ANC seems good for the price?

    • I have the Buds 3 (previous gen), and they are really good for my particular use case. I don't quite like the design as they are a bit bulky, but the ANC is top notch.

I have these, pretty happy with them, though they're my first experience with wireless ear buds, so nothing to compare them to.

The ANC works reasonably well, though the buds turned off in your ears block a lot of noise by themselves. It blocks background noise, but lets voices through. It also has a passthrough mode.

Cons: lots of background noise picked up by the mic, so you're not going to have a good time calling anyone in the wind, with AC on high in the car or in a noisy environment, as they won't be able to hear you well.

I only ever keep one bud in at a time. The left one is the master, so if you're wearing just the right, the left still needs to be in range (~15m)

I have a pair of Sony XM4 buds, and they're pretty much useless on windy days or on the train, without resorting to borderline shouting.

I find it easier to just put away the buds in those cases.

Are there any buds that do good phone calls especially walking along a busy road?

        • Want to know this myself, the Tozo T12 I have are excellent listening wise but dogcrap at transmitting voice.

  • Just got this delivered. Noise cancelling and transparency mode works well. Mic is good in quiet to slightly quiet environment but doesn't do well in noisy environments. For android phone users you can download xiaomi earbuds app to get additional configuration such as touch settings.

Media/music pauses automatically when you take the earbuds off your ear, a nice to have feature that rarely found on cheap earbuds.

I like how it sounds but can't say much about it because I'm not an audiophile. Dunno how to describe it.

    Thanks OP !

    • How is it with listening music ? How many hours could it last with continuous playing?
