Inkbird Bluetooth Digital Meat Thermometer With External Probes
(IHT-2PB + 2 Probes)
Limited time deal.
It’s a 3rd party seller on Amazon, I don’t know if Prime only or what shipping is without Prime. Please update title accordingly

I was looking to replace my Inkbird IHT-1P after leaving it too close to the baby q..
That model is on sale for $19.99 (Amazon and eBay) Great price!

Noticed this model - similar but $15 more, with Bluetooth, and 2 probes (useful for not melting the thermometer in the bbq.. ) Justified.

Cheapest price ever according to 🐪🐪🐪

Useful for some but not Bluetooth like the one in the deal

No Bluetooth, single probe and not waterproof. Other than that they're exactly the same

      • +2

no built in probe as well for quick temp checks

The Inkbird also has build in rechargeable battery which is way better than having to use annoying button cells.

Does any one know the length of the probe cords?

Just roughly measured and they're about 1.6m long

Does that image give anyone else serious flashbacks of the usb mp3 players that were coming out in the early 2000's?
    iPhones killed them off. Lol

I've had one of these for about a year and really happy with it. lives on the side of the microwave and easy to fold the probe out, use it, give a quick wash in the sink and fold away and back on the side of the microwave. The cable length of the plug in probes are roughly 1.5m.

I want to try reverse searing a steak inthe oven, I assume you can close the oven with the probes inside and a long wire links the thermometer outside? Woudl be great if it was full wireless!

    • Yep that's the way! Two probes connected with 1.5m wires. Magnet on thermometer, secure it on the outside of the oven/stove/fridge etc. Easy.

Kudos to the technology of full wireless if it exists, but superfluous to my needs, and budget probably!

    • Haven't checked but I wonder if https://meater.com/ can go in the oven

Highly recommended device, I roasted a half leg of lamb in the baby q last night, perfect doneness thanks to the probes :D
