  • definitely prefer this over WEF crickets!

    • I'd go the crickets

      • and the roasted & spiced mealworms?

        • -1

          Trust me it's still better

          • @Mikinoz: ….and the synthetic lab-meat manufactured in a factory funded by bill gates?

  • Not as good as the original makers … Spicy Sharman is like curry dusted wood chips

    • +1

I've done a few orders now. The consistency within batches isn't great either.

some strips are flavourful and and close to the mark of the OG. Some are almost any combination of: flavourless, weirdly thick or super wet and gross tasting

thankfully the wet/gross pieces are fairly rare
as long as you stay away from the wagu, as it's all foul and moist

      Also I miss Flamin' Hot

@chops Check out Viking Jerky Their 'Curry BBQ' is the same recipe as Geronimo's Spicy Sharman.

      • Thanks, will do

  • Is there a decent manufacturer of Biltong that isn't full of sugar and also isn't cooked up in a backyard bucket of Listeria?

    • +1

Make it yourself, with a $50 food dehydrator. Then the you can create it as specific as you want and only blame yourself if you don't like it.

    • Biltong or jerky?
If you haven't ordered from Biltong.com.au (our other brand) you should give it a go, we believe we're the number one online retailer of biltong in Australia
The only flavours with added sugar are the Smokey BBQ flavour and Chilli Chutney.

Similarly, on Geronimo Jerky, the only flavours with added sugar is "Pow Wow" (Teriyaki flavour) and the Chilli Chutney Jerky – all the other flavours are sugar-free.

  • How many times has Geronimo Jerky changed hands now??

    • Three that I know of … the original was a flake, but his jerky was good

    • He closed down last in 2018, and we bought the recipes and trademarks in 2022. It has not changed hands since then.

      • So where does Viking Jerky fit … they claim to have bought the original recipes? (Makes three). Pretty sure they were around between the shut down/walk away and you guys in 2022.

  • Got an order over $100 and my postage went from free to $6.99

    • Please note that the price of the order excluding postage should be $100 in order to qualify for free postage. Thanks

  • Hi OP,
I put in an order using the code last week, well I attempted to but it didn't confirm and seems payment wasn't taken out (it's still in my cart). Any chance I can still place the order with 25% off?
    Cheers
