Further discount on the Asko mechanical keyboard, and a bunch of other stuff in the range. Just noticed this browsing at Bondi Eastgate. Looks like they're clearing stock.
Heaps of stock at Bondi Eastgate, I bought two keyboards and a mouse.

Cheers. Bought one click and collect.
If not good will return
Interesting. Looks like a rebadged Havit KB856L, which usually goes for around $60 AUD. Here are the Amazon reviews for those interested.
good price to havit for
spending money on e-waste is my bad havit
I need to havit!
Good catch.
They look the same, most likely the same manufacturer.
However the reviews on that Amazon link show the keyboard with RGB lighting, each individual key can change colours. The Anko on the other hand has coloured keys but the keys can't change colour.
Then a video review of the Havit KB856L on YouTube shows it without RGB keys the same as the Anko keyboard: https://youtu.be/yutIp09SMwg
Aside from it not having true RGB lighting the only other thing I don't like is the text on the keycaps, I wouldn't mind changing the caps but then I'd lose all the images of what certain keys do with pressed with the function button.
Does anyone have advice about making sure aftermarket keys will fit? I see a few sets of keys for $10-20 that look interesting.
2 dollars cheaper than last time. They are on the louder side.
For $15 they aren't bad. Better than a $15 Lenovo keyboard you get bundled with one of there computers etc
Good to use at midnight when mother in law is sleeping over
Blue switches in a large cheap keyboard (ie. hollow and resonant) are about as loud as keyboards get.
Cant wait to rock up in the office with this bad boy
Asserting dominance. Promote this man.
Giving everyone a reason to test out their $400 noise cancelling headphones!
Glad asko have finally branched out from appliances into mechs
Anko = “A New Kind Of” for anyone unaware.
Oh, I didn't know Kmart Australia had operated stores in the US in the past, interesting….
KMart Australia is just a licenced name from the US parent brand by the Wesfarmers Group I'm quite sure
Edit: Just found out Kmart Australia was initially owned in part by the Kresge group, who eventually sold out of their shares but Coles Group/Wesfarmers retain the brand licence
I was under the impression that it came from the various "… & Co" home brands that Kmart had before they consolidated everything into Anko.
You're both right - http://web.archive.org/web/20200309204019/https://www.kmart.…
That must be because it's always new, i.e. never lasts more than 5 minutes these garbage ANKO products.
Ive had a anko wireless charger /UV sterlizer for nearly 3 years.
Bought for 5 bucks
Mine's still BNIB -_-
Gives "anko crap" a whole new meaning.
Bought one of these for my boy about 14 months ago. Some keys have started to repeat on single press.
They've started to what?
If you want to know what RangaWal means, it looks like AustriaBargain has the same problem!
No I get it. I just wanted him to repeat…
@TheJoker: lol
so x becomes xxx?
Yep, mainly the e key so far, but others also
Happened a few times on my cheapo Kogan mech kb. Pull the keys out with a key puller, vacuum, and then spray with contact cleaner. Ever since then I've been vacuuming the kb every week and don't get any repeated keys anymore.
Those are bonus keystrokes. Unbeatable value
About a dollar a month, noooootttt baaaaad.
I have had the Professional Mic now in use for like 6months, its perfect. Complimented on it for its clarity and its extremely cheap.
Ordered one click and collect, thanks for sharing.
Any more stock in SEQ? Seems OOS
Aspley indicates low stock online.
Cheers
Not much different to https://www.kmart.com.au/product/gaming-keyboard-43126484/ except for the armrest by the looks.
Mechanical keyswitches vs membrane
Yeah that one is a membrane keyboard which is nothing like a mechanical keyboard. It would be awful for gaming or even perhaps general use.
I'm typing on one atm (got it from the last $17 deal) and its great.
Wish the cable was longer … but if that is the only bad point then life's pretty good then :P
Damn nothing around where I am or where I'm going, woulda been good for my laptop.
