    That's ~$509 Aussie dollars…

$476 on eBay with eBay plus ($504 without)

      This is the way

    • Just be aware that I asked elegoo if support is different from ebay to normal if anything happens and they replied it is and that you need to contact their ebay for support and warranty issues. I bought on ebay but just an fyi

      • In other words, past the return/claim window on eBay, you are screwed and they won't reply. In the same way you would likely be screwed outside eBay anyway with them not having an Australian warranty centre and you needing to ship the unit overseas $$$. Their website states 12 months warranty only (less for some warranty categories)

        • While I agree with those points, from what I can tell normal support is quite responsive with warranty claims but shipping takes >2 weeks. Regardless a much better option than a non responsive ebay scenario. I did save >25% though so I rolled the dice with my ebay purchase

      • I bought my Mars Pro via Amazon and have dealt with elegoo directly for warranty issues without any problem. (The unit I ordered had a substantial bit of dust under the screen - contacted support via their support email and they shipped out a replacement screen). I wouldn't imagine it would be much different if ordered from ebay. I believe the support email is/was in the manual, etc.

So in terms of replacement parts there doesn't seem to be any more or less risk. If you're talking about returns that might be a bit different.

      • Whether you buy from elegoo.com or eBay, as long as it is an official ELEGOO store, ELEGOO will offer the same warranty:
12-months warranty and lifetime customer support.
