I’m trying to save all my paper receipts online so that I never lose them. I’m sick and tired of losing receipts and cannot claim warranty or find receipts for ATO.
Is there a free iOS with no strings attached? Most of the apps force you to pay.

It’s lightweight, nil tracking, has OCR, can link to cloud storage, free.
I use it all the time and I’ve donated to the app dev a few times. Highly recommended

I’m not sure how others are recommending notes and camera. You can’t create folders and search for receipts.
Yeah you can. Tap the back arrow to see your folders and tap the new folder icon on the bottom left. Search is up the top. Apple Notes app instructions.
Use the camera in the Apple Notes app. It's free, has OCR and optionally upload your notes to iCloud.
Files (iCloud), create a new folder and scan them there?
Least effort way is to just take a picture of them with standard camera.
Go to photos, search “receipt” and they all show up. Stick them in a folder if you wish.
I have been using scannerpro after pocketbook shutdown,
Cam scanner then save to files.
The Notes app has a scanner built in. Ideal.
