    Price?

No price or reason why it's a good deal?

      Thanks for your positive vibes

Good price. No WiFi is a deal breaker though.

mATX B650 board has been cheaper, but not many full size ATX board deals.

  • I just bought a Asus Tuf a620 plus wifi for $220 off shopping express, seems to be very similar in specs and great for gaming rig for my son. Seems better deal than this.

Depends on one's needs. The B650 chipset has additional PCIe lanes incl v5.0, supports Ryzen overclocking, 20Gbps USB and 4x more USB 10Gbps which the A620 does not. That means more storage (3x M.2 SSDs) and add-on PCIe cards.

If you don't need those and prefer onboard WiFi instead, then yes, would be better option.

I don't post many deals, but when I do, the deal template almost literally screams at me when I don't put the price in the title…

  • 'USB 4 support' just means 20 Gbps USB (aka USB 3.2 2x2).

I know PCIE 5.0 x16 isn't a requirement for B650, but this is a tough sell at $250 despite the number of NVMe slots.

    • The USB standards body really stuffed all of us by allowing USB4 to mean something other than 40gbps thunderbolt compatible USB….absolute bastards.

      • At least they list the speed now.

Right after I pulled the trigger. Been waiting for an ATX AM5 board deal for weeks now.

  • Still looking for a decent am4 matx wifi board.

  • Shame there is no wireless connection

  • Question: which one is better, MSI MPG B650 Carbon or this one?

    • Carbon….They are in different leagues. Pretty sure this is ASUS's entry-level B650 mobo.

stay away from Asus. They handled this whole debacle terribly.

      agreed
