I have been using it for around 6 years … So far so good …
Online reviews look decent. Can personally recommend NordVPN. Similar deal going on: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/797454
The main advantage on the other VPN's is that allows unlimited simultanous connections. So you can share it with family friends and anyone you want really.
As far as performance, it's on par with NordVPN in my experience
Working fine on multiple devices including ios, android phone, tv and windows. Sub continent servers even if virtual working well
Do these really work with Netflix or other streaming services to unlock content unavailable in Australia? My experience with Nord was pretty bad. Netflix would stop streaming and report content unavailable after few minutes.
With the new password sharing crackdown, im not sure if you could use it in different regions without triggering netflix to think your password sharing.
Just an educated guess.
Using Turkish Netflix, using VPN to access Japan and Singapore Netflix occasionally, so far so good.
Does it matter whether you use sharkspecial code? It doesn’t seem to change the price. I clicked through shopback app to sharksurf page.
Same. I tried that code too, it didn't change the price. If I don't use the default coupon of SHOPBACK, do I still get the cash back?
also can't change price. Still $ AUD 129.28
I stopped using surfshark since April for 3 years. Would I be recognised as a new customer grabbing this special?
Use a new email
Where, surfshark or shopback?
Does it connect to Indian servers .
Yes it does have Servers in Delhi and Mumbai
Which plans are eligible for the cashback? Is Surfshark One+ plan eligible for the cashback too?
2 year plans
Which one of the 2 year plans though?
any of them, click through the any of the link from the shopback page. you will see in the cart on surfshark page that shopback code has auto applied. ensure the shopback add on is active.
@yummycoot: "ensure the shopback add on is active." how do i tell ? Haven't used Shopback before.
@the fig man: download the extension. click on it. search surfshark inside the extension and it will take you to the store with the shopback activated.
extension will change its colour from red to green
@yummycoot: The Surfshark One+ sub has the benefit of removing stored personal data in company databases but is available only in ISA, CA, UK and EU.
Is there any reason to get this in Australia?
It looks like an excellent feature and worth getting this version of the sub. Is there a workaround to be able to use this in Australia?
@Barry off EastEnders: i have not tried it. Based on my understanding of the description on their website, it seems like that your data would have to be associated with them in order for them to automate the removal of that data.
If the company is not one of those countries, then they will not be able to request deletion of data.
Do I count as a new customer, even though I already used a trial earlier this year which expired in Feb?
Don't wan't to risk it if the cashback won't come through!
You won’t. Use a different email address.
Use a different email. Also, there's a 30-day refund policy if you change your mind later, or the cashback doesn't work.
