Lian Li O11D Mini 850W Builders Bundle Black (O11 Dynamic Mini + SP850 SFX Gold 850W Modular PSU) $299 + Delivery @ PCCG

141

The LIan Li PC-O11 Dynamic Mini Tempered Glass Case is a true icon when it comes to the perfect balance between size and modularity. This PC case isn't quite sure what it wants to be, as it can fit mini ITX, Micro ATX and ATX sized motherboards in slightly different configurations. Designed for the PC enthusiast, Lian Li include the most thorough collection of accessories you may require, such as extra screws, fasteners, zip ties etc. Design is tool less, so you will be testing your thumb strength when building in one of these striking cases. Your system will look visually stunning as the design allows for front and side views, The vertical PCIe riser available ,(sold seperateley) gives you the option to really show off your style.

The unique, dual-chamber chassis allows for heaps of room in the back for cable management, and as this particular case is a shorter than your average mid tower, the o11 dynamic mini requires a Small Form Factor (SFX) Power Supply Unit.

As such, PCCG are also including the Lian Li SP850 850 Watt Gold Modular Power Supply Unit with the case for only $299 incl GST. The case normally retails for approximately $159-$169, so if you are planning a new build, or case swap, PCCG are essentially selling you a PSU to accompany your new case for $130 or so. This PSU is at its cheapest price ever, by a long shot, (although part of a bundle).

A PCIe 5.0 12pin power connector is included, which is 16AWG thick to transfer 350W-400W and doesn't need the use of an adaptor for the up-to-date GPUs.

When I first saw this deal, I thought that PSU was only 750 W. 850W is perfect for a high end machine with the latest CPU/GPU combinations. You could definitely build this around a 13700K/RTX 4080, (possibly even a 13900K), it would be a stretch though!

Happy Building!

  • Not a bad itx bundle.
Just get a low TDP CPU as you can't fit with coolers in these
Or you might have to go water colling

      • Meant to say air coolers. The air cooler height is really restrictive

        • +1

I've got a one of these in mine no issues, should be alright just check dimensions.

          https://www.amazon.com.au/Thermalright-SE-AK120-Heatpipes-TL…

          • @Bowchkawowow: What CPU do you have?
I have a 13600kf. And the CPU isn't designed for itx unless you have good liquid cooling or good headroom for air cooler. I have since switched to fractal design torrent nano
And got the thermal right peerless assassin 120

            • +1

@maverickjohn: If u wanna fit in small case u need to know how to undervolt otherwise there will be thermal issue. My 13600k fits in a sub-10 L case with an axp90-x47 and in game only 60-70 degree

              • @nelladream: This is true. I'll be the first to admit I'm not comfortable with undervolting.
In saying that I always thought undervolting would potentially limit the performance of the CPU which defeated the purpose of me buying that cpu.
Max TDP of a 13600kf is 180w I had the noctua L12s. Always thermal throttling

                • @maverickjohn: You can find a sweat spot where no perf lost but less voltage needed. If you are using b-series boards they tend to push through high voltage by default. I managed to undervolt my 13600k to 130w draw when doing stress test with no per lost. Give it a try! I think for me the best return is less noise bc low temp

                  • @nelladream: I have a z790, i probably would have learnt it if I still had my smaller case. With the fractal torrent nano and peerless assassin. Under extreme workload Plex/Diablo 4/ Microsoft defender running simultaneously it hit 70-80 degrees. As soon as defender stopped it only Plex and diablo ran it was hovering at around 45.
In my rvz03 I had a noctua l12s and added a second fan liquid metal paste etc.
It would thermal throttle in less than a minute if I ran Plex and diablo

                  • @nelladream: I found a sweat spot under my armpits

                • +1

@maverickjohn: The direct impact of undervolting a CPU is the risk that you get instability and a system crash. It doesn't affect performance unless you are applying a power limit. The two often go hand in hand as without the power limit your CPU will often boost to a level where the higher voltage is required.

            • @maverickjohn: I've only got a 7600x

              • @Bowchkawowow: 105 W default with 142 max.
                13600kf is 120w default 180w max
CPUs are all power hungry these days.
Itx is becoming harder to pull off with these CPUs being so hefty.
But I guess undervolting needs to be learnt in these cases.

This is NOT an m-itx case, it is a large case that can fit all common motherboard types. Yes there are many cases which are much larger.
      Dimensions (D x W x H) 42 x 27 x 38 cm = 43L

      My dell xps8930 is 18 x 39 x 36 cm = 25L

      • I mistook this for the q58… Not sure why honestly

Cool if you weren’t aware this case was worked on by legendary overclocker Roman “der8auer

If only they gave us that American exclusive version with ATX PSU support. Or better yet, update the same without the support bar and call it the Mini Evo.

  • I run a NZXT 280 Elite RGB LC ib mine. Works beautifully .

Oh, and check out the cases the LL are about to release 🤤

It's a shorter case but wider so you have to cut your space somewhere.

But I see no deal here as I can get better parts for $255 and I could digger even deeper:
    Corsair Carbide 175R case $119.
Cooler Master PSU MWE 850W GOLD V2 $135.
    Total cost $255.

      Thats not an SFX PSU

      • -3

        Thats not an SFX PSU

I would never build a gaming computer with a SFX PSU let alone restrain the system in a small factor case.

        • -1

          Good for you buddy.

    • That case is a hot box. How is it any better?

      • -1

That case is a hot box (Corsair Carbide 175R)

When you pick your case you need to choose between noise and airflow.
And as I said I could dig even deeper so there are plenty of CoolerMaster cases with front airtake (the best solution) and they are much cheaper.

How can the case be named mini when it’s even larger than some matx case :(

    • Yeah its quite large. Most that are looking for a small form factor will skip this. But if you're not after the smallest, I think it's not too bad.

    • +1

Because it's the mini version of the O11 Dynamic case

  • PSU listed is B Tier with a comment on it
    https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

  • I'm just thinking…wouldn't you be better off and just buy a Corsair RM850e separately?

EDIT: bugger this, didn't know it needs a SFX sized PSU…

  • This is nice but still 43 litre volume. I got InWin 301C, micro ATX, which is 25L. And it fits full ATX PSU.
