    • yeah same, $0.20 each

      • +6

        $0.18 now :p 1.75% cashback instead of 2% cashback (17.5c rounded up to 18c).

        • +7

if you search i found a 2% gift card, It was strange

          • @shap08: oh yeah I see what you mean

          • +1

@shap08: Oh! 4c down the drain. Will remember that for next time, thanks.

I remember that there were 2 listings with different denominations last time, didn't think to check the rates on the other one though.

      • how?

    • Did this too

    • same. thanks, Op.

Why not 2x $10 Super Swap?

      • +1

        1x extra step?

      • That's what I did. Wooo!

    • Just a reminder that there is a monthly purchase limit with Amazon cards

  • -1

Anyone knows if it would work if I bought 2x$10 Amazon gift cards?

Edit - just saw the comment above. All good.

  • Good stuff
By the way, 4000 rewards available

  • Stupid question probably, am I able to use cashback already in my balance?

    • +4

      Yes

      • +1

        Sweet, thanks :)

      • Would you know if it's $20 spend after using balance, or just all up?

  • +3

If anyone is interested it says movie tickets are included as part of this deal. Extra $2 off a ticket ain't bad, if people still do that ancient ritual.

    • I did this ancient ritual for the first time in 7 years last month! My real estate agent did some food and drinks bash and hired out a whole cinema. Probably be another 7 years until next time.

  • Can't use Coles MC or activ visa to buy. Anyone else tried?

    • u mean the coles mc giftcards or the coles credit card?
      Both should work

    • Coles MC worked for me.

      • Did you use a new of existing card in wallet? I couldn't add new cards to my wallet

        • I added a new card. Does it help if you remove some old ones?

I think there might be a limit to how many new ones you can add per month though before it stops you. I remember something similar mentioned on previous posts.

          • @hamza23: I removed some cards, now only have 3 left, and still can't add any more. Haven't added any this month.

            • @MiscOzB: Add Activ visa to Apple Pay and use Apple Pay as a payment method.

        • Can only sometimes add them in payment methods/wallet (Coles prepaid mastercards that is). Still not allowing me to add any more rn.

    • +1

I just tried to add an Activ Visa card to my Shopback account and it worked for me.

Cheers got 2 x super swap

    • Why 2X$10
      Why not 1 X $20

      • +1

        $20 wasn’t available, right?

        • +1

          Gotcha

  • Thanks OP

  • +2

Cheers, combined with the Westpac spend $200 get $20 cashback on ebay cards.

  • -2

    grabbed one thanks @dealbot

  • I bought the super swap GC thinking I could swap it for a chemist warehouse GC but I'm unable to swap for it, what happened?

It's listed in the row of logos and in the long list of retailers. but when doing a search for them they don't appear.

    • +4

Chemist Warehouse starts at $20, cannot swap for $10.

  • +4

Since when did they downsize the cashback for superswap? 2% -> only 1.75% now! Very bad!

    • A couple weeks or so back. Not just Super Swap but many, like eBay, Amazon, Celebration Swap to name a few. Actually seems like all gift cards have been reduced.

      • +1

        A bit disappointing!

    • Shrinkflation hits cashback too…

      • +1

Shrinkflation doesn't make sense on gift card cashback.
When the general price level is up, people would have bought more gift cards to cover the increased product price.
That means more profit for gift card seller , i.e. shopback

Downsize cashback rate is no more than double dipping.

    • With the extra $2 bonus, it is still pretty good

    • Competition is what we need, who are the competitors other than CR that doesn't require some sort of membership?

Plenty of online GC stores have no discounts, CR has always had worse regular rates. Macquarie has some decent discounts but that requires an account. You're essentially waiting for bonuses like this deal, but if you're in need and have no other options then your choices are limited.

      • There are many channels offering discounted gift cards, without membership fee.
For myself, I don't spend a lot during regular days (i.e. outside black fri, boxing day etc)
I never need to buy gift cards from SB at regular rates.
SB is always the one with the least attractive regular discount.

        • I use eBay the most and they have the best rate that I'm aware of, currently 2.5% via Celebration Swap. Who has higher?

          • @Hiphopopotamus: depends on how much you spend,
CR sometimes offer 10% bonus on $30
Prezzee offer 6.25% close to monthly
            10% off here
            equivalent to 5% off here
            equivalent to 10% off here

            • @AsukaST: You're ignoring my question, I'm asking about the regular rates. Your first comment was in regards to the regular rate.

If you're going to compare promos then this current deal is 11.75%+, with a few more 12% ones in the last month.

SB is always the one with the least attractive regular discount.

And this is just wrong. Ignoring all of the GC stores that offer no regular discounts, the regular rates of SBs chief competitor CR is 1% for Amazon/eBay and 1.5% for their Choice GC.

@Hiphopopotamus: 3.5% eBay discount through Redeem Your Gift Card, just open a free ART account, don't need to actually use it - I do. They offer PayID/bank deposit so not immediate, unless you happy to pay a small fee to get it immediately. I have always got the gift cards within 24 hours using free method.

                https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/796072

                • @Lucille Bluth: Thank you, this I can use.

I read the comments and there's mention of a $1 delivery fee, is that right?

Also if I don't want to cop any fees I can keep the balance at $0, but they will close it eventually? Reminds me of people opening multiple JB accounts for the perks voucher.

          • @Hiphopopotamus: Celebration Swap eGift Store Card is 5% discount + $1 delivery at Redeem Your Gift Card

            • @jimojr: 4.5%, $1 delivery, 1% card fee if you need it immediately and an ART account (or maybe others?) which isn't a simple sign up and forget about it account.

I buy GCs outside of promos very rarely, creating an account for this is not really worth the effort. Any other suggestions?

              • +1

@Hiphopopotamus: 5% off at shop.redeemyourgiftcard, 4% off at art.redeemyourgiftcard after I logged in. I only use this site when I run out Cloes Prepaid gift card and purchase $500 with direct debit. You can use access code "shopper" to sign up.

                • @jimojr: Thank you, I signed up successfully.

When I browsed the gift cards Celebration Swap was 4.5%, after logging in though it is now 5%, I guess it depends on your access code when signing up? Regardless, it's much appreciated.

  • When I click on the link, it takes me to a page with two scrolling banners. Nothing there for me.

  • -1

No more Apple GC's with Super Swap now? Or am I tripping?

    • +1

Use Ultimate Him to buy Apple gift card at JB.

    • +1

Guess you bought 2 x $10? Minimum for Apple is $20.

  • Cheers OP! 🍻

  • Thanks OP, grabbed 2x$10 SuperSwap.

  • Bought coles vouchers but couldn’t scan them at all at the self-serve checkout. Anyone ever had that issue? Had the code on my phone in landscape with max brightness

    • Nope. I keep them small, portrait on my phone and scan via the flybuys reader. Works instantly every time.

  • Bought 2x SuperSwap
Cashback tracked almost immediately, but bonus still not tracked after few hours

    • +1

      • The $2 bonus will be added to your account within 48 hours of purchase.

    • my $2 tracked within half hour of purchase

  • Can I use it for Uber gift card?

  • Got one, thanks OP

  • Gee, I hope this tracks before the places run out…

    • Unlike CR, we never know if we can secure the spot. Kinda bait

  • Still has not tracked, been 48 hours already. Bought 2 X $10 Amazon gift cards. Sigh need to email them.

Odd as gift cards are straight forward and difficult to stuff up unless you didn't start and complete the challenge.
